everything! when we checked in, there was such an overwhelming stench of disinfectant that we had to turn on the ac and leave the door open for over an hour to just sit in the room. There wasn’t anyone available in the office multiple times we went to discuss. overall cleanliness was horrible. Roaches in bathroom. We stayed away from the motel as long as we could only returning to sleep then get up early and be gone…it is the season down in the keys so we could not find other accommodations otherwise we would have left and forfeited what i paid. Sleeping on the ground in a tent or our car would have been much better

Lock didn't work, bathroom door falling apart, toilet didn't flush very well, couldn't shut bathroom door, office closes at 4 p.m. It's scary. No lobby, no coffee in room, window air conditioner held with tape.

There is no pool but we knew that before we booked and it didn't bother us.

Early check-in options are fabulous. The owner called to make sure we were on our way and to give us check-in instructions. Super personable and sweet. We didn't expect the Taj Mahal but our room and the property exceeded our expectations. Lovely and quiet too. Not a party-central place - which is exactly what we wanted. Family owned and operated with that sweet, laidback, Keys vibe.

I received an email that the office would be open until 4 PM. We arrived to a locked office door with an envelope on with my full name on it taped to the door, with a note indicating which room we would be staying in and that the door was not locked and the key was inside. We found this a bit of a safety issue and a bit disconcerting to go inside an open room right off the main highway. We checked all rooms and confirmed windows were locked.

The location was good to the places we wanted to visit.

It was in very poor condition and the location was not good for vacation purposes. The chair provided was very dirty and had lots of black stains all over. The towels did not appear clean. The blanket provided was worn and needs to be thrown out. The walls were damaged and needs painting. The shower tiles were cracked and in need of repair. The outside appearance was not welcoming and I was very disappointed upon arrival but could not do anything as the office was closed prior to my arrival. Overall it was a bad experience as I was even afraid to sleep on bed due to fear that the sheets were not clean. This property needs an upgrade.

Pancake thin pillows. bouncy mattress sinks in middle. Upgraded ? to kitchen unit, but tiny and no table or chairs to sit to eat. Tiny bathroom knees nearly touch wall when seated. We were in the back, (they don't post photos of this part of the hotel). There is no close parking to the rooms in the back. We had to go between two parked trailers where people live to get to back rooms. So called garden view was a couple of potted plants and a well-worn picnic table. The bed was so closed to entry door you nearly trip to get in. No amenities but two tiny pieces of soap, bring your own shampoos, coffee or tea, sugar everything. Internet did not work the whole three days, had to use phone data. Oh, nothing to do. Get in your car and go find something. Price is ridiculous for what you get. Also I didn't see the other units with supposed larger kitchens, but don't pay attention to the list of things they say are in the room. Most of the list doesn't exist.
