The included breakfast was not great. I was driving cross country and stayed in several hotels. This was the only one that I walked in, looked at what was offered and decided I'd just pick something up on the road.

The location is great! I was able to walk to the beach, a cute main street area with lots of shops and a nearby grocery store for supplies.

We found moldy oatmeal left in the microwave and candy wrappers in the drawer next to the bed. The heat didn't work and mirror light in the bathroom didn't work.

I love the convenience of the hotel, and we can bring our dogs. It has been under construction for a while now, but still needs a lot of work

The things that were advertised as amenities were not available.

The location was good, however, it was not very clean. Also, they advertise a swimming pool that was closed and also advertise a bar that was also closed I would suggest staying at another hotel while in Benton Harbor. The bad thing is, I could’ve got a nicer hotel at a lower rate than what I paid here. The staff was extremely nice day location and the staff were good but the rest was bad.

Hotel in the throes of remodeling and everything was not finished in the rooms available. Need hanging space; space to put luggage etc.

After the problems with our previous rooms were addressed our final room did have everything we needed.

More food choices, no pool. Definitely needs to be updated and I would recommend to check the lock on the sliding glass door. Ours was NOT locked. Cleaning needs to be a bit better. There was dirt on our vinyl floor. But again compared to other hotels this was a cheap place to stay

they never have enough shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms. And it’s not very good quality at that that is my only complaint I don’t want to travel with big containers of shampoo, and I would like the hotels to supply better quantities and better products.

there aren’t many hotels right by the beach. This one is right by the beach is very clean.

The squeaky bead. Seriously squeaky! They advertise a hotel with a swimming pool. There is one under construction!

The location is great. Clean bathroom! The balcony was nice addition.. Breakfast was just ok, we expected some warm food. Friendly staff.

We went for a one night stay for a wedding. It was good for what we needed, the cost was very reasonable and the rooms were clean. The area in which the hotel is located is perfect. The staff were very friendly

We stayed a couple days, but housekeeping didn’t come to our room. They only provided us with 3 towels on day one and on the second day we didn’t have enough towels or soap bc housekeeping didn’t come by. The breakfast was terrible. There was no protein and nothing hot. There were fruit flies living in the bread boxes. The juice tasted like water. The pool was closed and there was no indication of that before we booked.

The breakfast was mostly carbohydrates...bagels, toast, cereal, fruit. It would have been nice to have some good protein choices. The bathroom was cramped for space.

Our check-in went quickly and the gentleman remembered things that my husband mentioned when making our reservations, so we felt a personal touch.

Pool was closed. No closets??? No chair for balconies. Hallways need painted. Our 4 floor balcony overlooked the lobbies nasty tar roof. The rest of the hotel needs to match the lobby. Parking is bad at night. Lids didn't fit coffee cups and too hot to carry without cozies. Needs renovations!

The hallways were hot and dirty. The beds were hard as rocks and did not allow for good sleep. The continental breakfast consisted of bread, cereal and juice - no eggs or meat.

The pool was not in service, and we were not advised ahead of time, nor were we offered any kind of disount for the inconvenience. The room was not ready, even though I officially checked in at 2:30pm but did not arrive in the room until 8pm. The deadbolt on the door did not work, which made us feel a bit unsafe. The shower walls had hair, which seemed like they were not cleaned thoroughly. For the price, he hotel should have been in better condition.
