Despite the fact that a building this old has squeaky floors - the people upstairs were walking back and forth constantly as if getting exercise- and despite the fact the small bathroom needs updating- we would stay here again.

Our room was quite large plus there was another room making for an unexpected suite. Having so much space made it very comfortable.

If you have the chance to stay here, don’t miss out! The house is beautiful and quiet. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The common room is stocked with coffee, juices, and all types of snacks, fruit, and breakfast foods! You can walk to a lot of shops, restaurants, museums and the tourist center. They have a parking lot that was able to accommodate our truck as well. Barbara and Steve are both super nice and accommodating! They also own the ice cream shop right across the street which was delicious. I will definitely be back for my next trip! They are also on site and live downstairs if you should need anything. The rooms also have their own bathroom and Roku tv. WiFi is also available.

Nothing. Everything was great.

I rented a three bedroom suite for a girls weekend! We had the whole top floor! Plenty of space. We felt very comfortable and safe. The owners were so pleasant and were there on the property. Absolutely love the common area with all the little snacks! The whole place was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Everything for the Christmas festival was within walking distance.

Nothing. It’s a house. You can hear the other family that came on the second day but it’s fine. Also the door is a bedroom door so it’s thin and you can see light from the hall but it locks and didn’t bother me.

Barbara was welcoming and accommodating in familiarizing me with the Carriage House, and the area. The suite was safe, quiet, and clean, and walking distance to area attractions. The manor house, available 24 hours provided fresh fruit, snacks, coffee/tea and lovely sitting areas with views and Gettysburg literature. They also own an ice cream shoppe across the way, "Cone Sweet Cone" with fresh creamy ice cream at a discounted price for guests! 5 stars!

Remind guests on 2nd floor that there are people below! We had quite a bit of thumping of feet on our last night.

Fantastic location close to town and close to the cemetery. Although it is not a B&B, they had a large selection of food for a continental breakfast each morning.

The breakfast was okay and had a great assortment, but almost everything was sugary.

This old stone house is in a great location, near enough to many things but not noisy. The room was delightful and comfortable. We had two rooms. My husband had some work to do while we were there, so he could go into the one with a desk for a few hours.

The noise from the AC unit was slightly annoying but other than that everything was great :)

I love everything about this Manor but my favorite part was that I requested for them to write a cute note for my boyfriend since it was his birthday and they did and it made me very happy :)

Floors are very squeaky and sound travels from other rooms. Anyone walking, talking, running and jumping, is quite readily heard below. We spent two nights there and unfortunately the folks upstairs had insomnia both nights.

There really was not anything that I didn't like. The weekend was very enjoyable.

I loved the screened in porch at the breakfast house. I spent my mornings reading and enjoying the scenery there. The location is perfect. You are right downtown for walking to anything and yet are set just far enough off the street to enjoy a bit of serenity.
