It’s a garden level apartment with the owner living above which is something to be aware of if you’re bothered by noise. The internet kept dropping out at times which meant so did the TV.

Our host was very accommodating! The apartment had everything we needed and more. We had a very comfortable stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Colfax Ave is an interesting melting pot of experiences and people. Foot Steps- but thats just what wives complain about.

The property is a private entry lower level in which Jason lives above(we occasionally did hear footsteps from above). 2 bedroom with queen sized beds, 1 bathroom and living,dining and kitchen. We enjoyed the open layout of the place and the bedrooms were good sized. The bathroom is large and includes a washer/dryer which Jason provided detergent for. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and tools for cooking. Beds were comfortable and there are some short spots in the space but Jason has those posted already. Jason shoveled and salted entrance and texted me to let me know which was awesome of him. 10 minutes from Downtown Denver, 5 minutes to Sloan Lake, 20 minutes to Red Rocks. We will be back.

When we arrived, some of the kitchen items were not cleaned, but Jason was very helpful and rectified the situation immediately. A minor one, there was a cricket that was very loud all night long that resided by the window so if you are a light sleeper, you might struggle to use one of the rooms. Jason did provide a noise-making machine to help it, but that cricket was quite loud that it was still noticeable.

Location was really great, and communication was very fast and easy with Jason. The kitchen had all the basic utensils required to cook a great meal if needed. Street parking was available right at the front door.

Jason was the best host. He had a door code ready for us to let ourselves in. However, we happened to bump into him as we arrived, he was such a lovely person - so organized and helpful! The apartment itself was lovely and clean. I went with my boyfriend and a friend from Ireland, there were two lovely bedrooms with comfy queen beds for us and a fully functional kitchen and living area to hang out in. We wanted a base that was close by/equidistance from Rocky Mountain National Park, the Garden of the Gods, and the Red Rocks. This place was perfect for a 3-day hiking weekend.

The one thing to be fair to others - you cannot be more than 6 ft because the ceilings in the dining area and into bedrooms are about that high.

We didn’t realise the parking was only street parking, but it ended up being fine leaving our car on the street in the snow.

A very cosy flat located underneath another house, but very contained and private. Spacious flat with all the facilities we needed including a washer and dryer. Beds were comfy.

loved everything that came with it, how they focused on small important details. also how for us since we’ve never been to Colorado they had places for us to visit. it was perfect it certainly was a whole lot more amazing then what we thought it would be. we would absolutely book again if we ever visit Colorado again.
