Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe hotel did feel a bit dilapidated and dated. There wasn't a lot of space to store things in the bathroom & the one shelf was practically falling from the wall. And no refrigerators in any of the rooms. You can "check" your food into their community pantry though, and staff is pretty nice about getting it for you.
The location was excellent, perfect for our needs and very walkable throughout downtown. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room larger than most standard NY hotels. Since our stay was over a week, the room size was important for us. Appreciated the free hot coffee every morning!

United States of AmericaThe bathroom sink was quite small and the edges were tilted inwards, so it was tough to get the few things I needed to stay put.
Nice corner room on the quiet side of the hotel. Perfect location near the Holland tunnel and Soho

United States of AmericaI’m gonna be very honest here, because I paid almost $2,000 for the room alone. The room was NOT clean. It was 6/10 clean at best. I should have taken photos, but I really did not want to let anything ruin my trip, so I just put up with it. The vents on the AC in the room were COVERED in dust, like when you don’t clean your ceiling fan for years. That kind of dust. A lot of it. Not exaggerating any of this. Should have been the easiest thing to notice and clean. It was bad. There was also dust on, under, and inside, the cabinets/dressers/nightstands. There were used napkins and paper towels behind the bed frame that I saw when going to charge my phone the first night. The TV didn’t work the entire first night. The latch on the door was broken so so the door didn’t actually close, and I didn’t even notice until this: On the 3rd night I come back to my room and find the housekeeper LEFT THE DOOR TO MY ROOM OPEN. Like literally open, they didn’t even bother to close it? Maintenance doesn’t know it’s broken? I probably had over $1,500 worth of clothes on the desk that someone could have just walked in no problem and taken. PLEASE KEEP READING IM NOT DONE. The very next night I come back to the at 4am after a night of clubbing, wearing hoodie on that I’ve been wearing all week. An employee has the audacity to stop me on the elevator and hold the doors open and asks me a bunch of questions like he thinks I’m not staying there….. are you kidding me? He then asked me if I’m going up on the elevator…..? am I going up?! WE’RE ON THE LOBBY FLOOR…. THE ONLY WAY TO GO IS UP….. BE FOREAL. I HAD ALREADY CLICKED FLOOR 6 BUTTON, KEY CARD IN HAND, AND HE HAS THE AUDACITY TO PROFILE ME? ARE YOU SERIOUS? He thinks I’m not staying there becuase im Mexican in a neon green hoodie? I had been there for 5 days prior to this. I felt so disrespected, I really wanted to complain to a manager but like I said I refused to let anything ruin my trip. How disgraceful.
Excellent location, close by to multiple subway stations and close proximity to all the fun of NYC. Tons of fun nightlife in the general area for the 21+ crowd. I really enjoyed walking around SoHo and shopping in the area everyday on my trip. Deli around the corner open 24hrs for meals/snacks on those 4am nights. Good pizza and tacos close by aswell. Area feels safe, walked back to the Hotel from LES and other surrounding neighborhoods on multiple nights at 3-4AM and didn’t see anything sketchy around the hotel. Hotel offers free bottled water aswell which is great for coming back to your room after a day in the city or on your way out you can grab a bottle. The front desk guys I dealt with were really cool. Excellent scenery all around the hotel area, right around the corner has views of One World Trade Center and plenty of photo ops on every street around the hotel. Can’t stress enough how great the location is. I really enjoyed the area a lot. SoHo and Lower Manhattan in general are great.

This hotel was a bargain and I took a chance. The hotel was clean and smelled amazing everywhere including lobby and hallways. The room was very clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable and the shower was huge and excellent. I loved walking around this neighborhood there were great restaurants and the shopping was interesting. I would stay here again easily.
