I liked that we were on the canal side—would have been great if the balcony was on that side of the building instead of it overlooking the parking lot, just as a design note. A lot of construction happening that didn’t give off the best curb appeal, and also long term tenants that have messy balconies. Some pool chair cushions need to be replaced (and the waffle irons!) Nothing that ruined the trip by any means and we’d likely come back if we stayed in marathon again.

The property was fine. It could be spruced up with new paint and more plants and flowers. Looked a little run down when we first got there, but once we were there we enjoyed ourselves very much and did not notice it . The fact that they are remodeling individual guest houses shows that they are working to improve the resort and I am excited to see what all they do. Wish we could have exchanged pool towels during our stay, that would have been nice. Would have been nice to have a better quality beach towels.

All of the options for things to do. Bikes, beach volleyball, tennis, pickle ball. Near the beach. They had beach chairs and umbrella and toys for us to take with us to the beach. Pool was great, loved all the nightly activities at the pool. Adults and kids loved the pool. Pool was clean. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Glad we and our adult kids could have adjoining rooms. Tiki bar was big hit, food was good, stay included breakfast which was good. I liked that I did not have to bring beach and pool towels with me from Ohio. Close to activities and restaurants. Staff were fun and friendly. Nice work out area.

There was construction noise in the morning and it made it difficult for my wife to sleep.

Pillows need an update. The front desk staff weren't knowledgeable about the local bus/lower keys shuttle but that was easy enough to figure out on our own.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean and spacious. The bar by the pool was lovely and the staff was nice.

There is a large land area across the street, former golf course, that is under heavy construction and looks to be possibly a future building site. The location isn’t very walkable to restaurants or the beach. The pool area is ok, but showing its age. The breakfast is not great and the staff in breakfast room are unfriendly. The pool area blares the music too loud, so it’s difficult to sit by the pool and relax or read a book.

The room was a nice size and had some cosmetic upgrades to make it more appealing. One day by the pool a lovely activity director, Lynn, got us involved in a fun game with other guests, it was a nice touch.

We were locked out of our rooms for some reason after the first night. It was resolved but no explanation.

Very low water pressure in shower. Couch in living room was old, sagging and no support in cushions, making it hard to get up from. Wish it had a full sized fridge with freezer, to refreeze ice bottles for our coolers instead of using cubed ice that melts and makes a mess. Small crowded parking lot.

Great choice until last morning as limited. Great size room and very comfortable. Pool would have been better if heated as too cold to swim at this time... From a building prospective...we had a lovely room on fourth floor but noticed that the balcony or seating area would be better at the front of the room as although you had a great canal view..when you went indoors you only see the from the back over the parking area from your balcony.

We were allocated a top floor corner suite which was excellent. Being able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset was brilliant. Spacious accommodation with good facilities. Breakfast was also very good, both hot and cold choices. Pool area with Tiki bar is well maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Not their fault but car park flooded due to torrential rain so difficult to get to our car in the morning. Pumped out by the time we returned. Some guests clearly knew this and moved their vehicles,

Good location for visit to Key West and friendly helpful staff. Lovely apartment with everything we needed for 2 night stay. Beautiful pool and plenty of parking. Breakfast okay.

Our shower water did not stay hot longer than two minutes, but it wasn’t a huge deal!

Room was big and very clean! There was construction going on and I’m excited to come again in the future when everything is done to see the completed villas. Location was great we were halfway between Key Largo and Key West so it was easy to navigate the islands. We told them it was our anniversary and they left rose petals and swan towels on our bed! We had the complimentary breakfast one morning, nothing super fancy but was good. We will definitely stay here again!
