Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceThe bathroom was full of water after shower, and there was not a mop in the room to clean it up.
The room was spacious, very well equipped, and situated in a very nice and vivid area.

United States of AmericaI have traveled a LOT over years and I have never experienced such awful sheets. Normally I wouldn’t notice them, but they were basically plastic, didn’t fit on the bed and kept popping off, and were incredibly uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter. I have never left a review about sheets before but it made the stay so uncomfortable for both me and my partner. I’ve experienced better sheets in a hospital, hostel, motel. It was horrible and doesn’t reflect the price. Management should change this ASAP. The location is excellent but also loud at night. Earplugs and a sound machine are provided, which was helpful.
The reason to stay here is location. It’s right downtown and near several public transit locations, restaurants, bars, etc. so it’s extremely convenient. There was a lot of street noise at night but there was a sound machine and ear plugs which were helpful.

GermanyIf you're very sound sensitive you should not stay here. You need definitive ear plugs.
Nice and comfortable but fur sure very loud in the evenings. A white noise machine is provided. It is super central and has a little kitchen. Check-in was easy and there was always someone at the reception.

United States of AmericaNot the fault of the hotel, but please be aware that this location is *very* noisy. Probably the loudest location I've ever stayed. We were on the 8th floor and the screaming and car horns from the street below were honestly kind of unbelievable. To be fair, earplugs were provided and the noise comes with the territory if you want to walk right out of the building and into the scene. If the location is most important to you, then just be aware before you book. However, if you are a light sleeper or have kids I would not stay here - it is too loud. I can usually sleep though just about anything and I barely slept (I can't wear earplugs because I need to listen for my son, and he only slept because he was absolutely bombed out from a full day of walking around). Another thing to note is that the hotel does not provide parking (they are clear about this up front). There are a number of garages in the immediate blocks so not a terrible problem, but again not ideal if you want the convenience or have kids. If you travel light, walking a block or two isn't a big deal. If you pack many bags, you may want to avoid. Just something to consider. Finally, the sofa didn't have blankets and sheets and it look us a while to find them. I wish it was marked where they were so they were easier to find. Also, the bedroom had blackout curtains but the living room did not so if you sleep on the sofa, the light may wake you in the morning.
Lots to like: for leisure/tourism, location is great. Room was comfy, clean, and had a small but clean and modern efficiency kitchen with an immaculate refrigerator and a small island with 2 seats. Sofa pulled out for a second bed. Building itself was very quiet. Codes at building entrance and door worked seamlessly. We have a small child and so cleanliness is particularly important to us, and we would stay again in that regard. The chat function of the Sonder app was responsive and my couple of questions were answered without minutes. Streets outside were clean and I felt safe walking around the area. I would definitely stay here again alone or with my husband, but we wouldn't stay as a full family again.

United KingdomA slightly earlier standard check in time and later check out time would have been useful- this was available at an extra cost.
The apartment is in a very convenient location close to the main tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. Apartment was very well equipped, clean and accessible. The ability to put a our cases in a locker located on the same floor was very useful in advance of the check in time.

EstoniaA combination of drafty windows and a loud HVAC unit was my only complaint. It did get pretty chilly at night during my stay end of November and the only way to keep the bedroom warm was to keep the heater on at night, which would turn on and off every once in a while and make quite a bit of noise.
Amazing value for the price. Great location at the heart of Philadelphia just a few minutes' walk away from the City Hall - as central as can be. Has a fully-equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs, washer, dryer, and everything else you may need.
