The place is vastly lacking the human touch, even given the business model -- nobody told me I could download the key code to my phone to open the door. The lock mechanism on the door to my room was wobbly and the lighting in the hall was inadequate and I -- at the age of 77, though nimble -- had to kneel on the floor, peer closely and use one hand to steady the door while I poked in the number with the other. Not dignified, not efficient, not good.

The room was spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped. I sent a comment that the chairs around the table were not comfortable, and when I came back later in the day they had been replaced other chairs that were both comfortable and good-looking. The location in Georgetown, near many restaurants and shops, is excellent for getting around the city by public transportation and to many points of interest on foot

Conveniently located in Georgetown, near town center. Clean and comfortable. No external noise disturbance. Wifi was adequate.

A little less expensive would, of course have been nice. One thing I would definitely change would be to add safety grab bars to the tub for getting in and out. The tub base is slippery and the only thing to steady yourself during the high step over the tub edge was to hold gently both the curtain rod and towel rack, neither of which are supposed to be used in that manner. Also the mattress on the bed would stand an upgrade to something firmer. Lastly the toilet was the low height version so that your legs "go to sleep" from pressure on the edge.

I was afraid that the drop-off procedure would be awkward with nowhere to park while unloading, busy traffic street etc. but was pleased to find it had a "safe harbor" area to do all that. Location was excellent. The TV was exceptional with a great system for transferring your own personal streams. The kitchen was perfect for our needs.

Nothing really. We liked it.

The bathtub curtain was torn. One window was super dirty. The hotel does not have a parking lot. There was no cafe or restaurant in the hotel, and no breakfast option. There was a vending machine though, but it didn't work for a whole week. The gym that you see in the pictures and in the description - it is in a different building, 5 minutes away, on a different side of the canal. There is nobody at the reception desk - you need to call to ask them to come or answer the questions.

Room was really spacious. We had a kitchen with all the main things - fridge, dishwasher, sink, microwave, dishes and so on. Room had a lot of storage - 3 closets. The bus stop is near, good connection with a city center.

We were let down on this visit because our room on the second floor smelled like fast food French fries constantly. There was also a guy perpetually smoking pot out front, in the vestibule between the doors, and maybe in the elevator. Pervasive odor of weed. The couch bed on our room was really uncomfortable, but happily the couch itself was big enough to use as a bed for one person. Everything else was fine.

The location is fabulous and the rooms are generally excellent.

The convertible couch was very uncomfortable to sleep in, the mattress was extremely thin and we could feel the metallic bars from the structure sticking out on our backs the entire time.

I have stayed at the Sonder a few times and it's great. I do wish there was basic cable TV. We do have our various subscription logins to stream movies and the like, but sometimes it is nice to come back to the room and watch a little CNN or sports on ESPN on the big TV.
