The cooktop fan did not work at all. We had to keep the windows open all the time to air out the room and there was little ventilation so it did not air out well. Luckily we had good weather so it was fine to leave the windows open, but it would have been a problem if it had been colder/hotter. The freezer door was broken and would not stay closed (this was specific to the room we stayed in though).

We loved having a private apartment. Everything was pristinely clean and comfortable. The laundry facilities were great, as well as all the soap and extras included made it such a comfy stay. We really loved it and will use Sonder again!

The accommodation was very good and the apartment was well furnished and a good design with high quality fittings.

Location was close to town however the walk into the city centre was not that pleasant if you chose going by the convention centre, which had dark streets and a lot of homeless people living on the street. Once we found another route and by passed the convention centre the walk into town was much better.

Night 1 the water pipe burst flooding the ground floor. Our room was in a bad state. We had to move to floor 5. 2 suitcases were wet. We used the dryer to dry the clothes. Apart from that disaster everything else went well.

Excellent spacious modern homely room. We loved it here. Perfect for a large family. Excellent value also.

The booking requires an additional registration on Sonder's website shortly after the reservation on booking with many personal details. During the period between the booking and the actual stay, hackers messaged me through booking.com demanding money and this raises concerns what happened with my passport photo, etc. Beyond that, what I can mention is the walls are thin. If someone spends their whole night shouting while making phone calls or keep a dog around, you will clearly hear those.

Super nice, well equipped apartment. Wifi is fast. Location is in reasonable walking distance from the City Hall. There is plenty of storage space. Also washing capsules were provided, amenities were good quality.

It would be beneficial to offer a room cleaning option for longer stays. Additionally, I found the lack of a vacuum cleaner to be a missing essential amenity.

We had some issues with accessing the apartment because of some issues with the lock. We got assistance on the Sonder app using chat and then by someone working there. We eventually needed a key because the touch pad and lock wasn't working well for us.

The property had a bit more 'wear and tear' than the impression from the photos. It was located in a part of Philadelphia that felt quite rundown for a new visitor who doesn't know the city at all.

This is an apartment hotel where you self check-in, you have access to fresh linen/towels, the room is not serviced daily like a hotel, but you have cooking and washing facilities which is great if you are travelling for longer periods. It was excellent value for money for 6 days compared to the prices of hotels nearby. We could actually walk to the PMA in 30 minutes and the Independence Hall in 30 minutes so if you are a walker, the location is quite central.

Poor sound insulation between the apartments, sleepless night if you got noisy neighbours.

I guess I am used to hotels. Ithe chemical smell was so pungent on my arrival. I think the cleaning crew must be using concentrated chemicals at full strength.

Close to Philadelphia flower show, Chinatown and reading terminal. Staff was great! Issues handled timely.

the service here on booking.com is bad. They warned me to cancel my reservation while later clarified that it is scam. Their own app Sonder is better and sometimes more efficient in many ways.

The plug socket locations were a bit odd around the room - nothing near the bed apart from a plug socket right behind the pillow which we obviously couldn’t use because of it being a fire hazard. There were also no nightstands or side tables which was a bit of a shame and made it awkward for things you need on your bedside. The locker storage for luggage was poorly planned - we had nowhere to store our bags and ended up having to find somewhere online which cost us $30. We saw people storing small backpacks in the large lockers meant for suitcases (which we had), which was so frustrating.

The room was so clean, it really felt homely too as it was studio apartment-style. I liked that it felt spacious overall and the bathroom was nice and big.

The bed sheets were a bit too big for the bed size, so they were not tight enough for me, which made my night a bit uncomfortable.

Very good location and value for money! Can't really ask for more. Close to the conversion center, to Trader Joe's, subway, etc. Don't miss the gym and the rooftop!
