To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe didn’t communicate with us that they will hold almost 200 dollars in our card for the night plus what we paid for the night. The room was good but nothing wow for the price and the bathroom as well. When we asked the lady at the front desk about this hold in the card she was not helpful. Also, we had to pay 45 dollars for parking and they didn’t mention that cost either. Won’t stay at that hotel again. We come to Denver very often and definitely there are better options.

United States of AmericaElevators were slow and many times rode the freight elevator that felt more like a white padded cell. Room was fair but had a view of the parking garage next to the property.
The location was good and close to the places we wanted to go. Upon arrival and being checked in we asked about nearby transportation and were advised they don’t do that sort of advice.

Curaçao2 of the 4 lifts were not working and there is no separate service elevator, so all the time when going to room or leaving hotel the wait for a lift was too long and full of people often with housekeeping carts in the lift. The lifts were also very slow. There was also no room service available.

Housekeeping lacked attention to details : chairs, shower corners, tables were dirty with leftover food and soap marks from previous occupants. I appreciated that the men were dressed professional/casual, but the women more casual. Also it would of helped to let me know to park in front for check-in. I was trying to park and then check-in

We were not told at check in about needing to use the key cards for the elevators (a note in the elevator would help with this), and there should be a note in the rooms about how to get ice while this location is under construction. The buffet breakfast is over priced for the selection and quality. We also had concerns because of the construction there was no access to stairs from the upper floors to the ground, stairs only went to 5th floor...this was a safety concern for us.
The location was amazing. Right next to the downtown outdoor mall/shopping district. Had everything we needed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful anytime we had questions or needs. The pool was on our floor, it's got fake vines to help add privacy to the balcony.

Room was clean and everything worked. Location was close to the convention center and 16th street mall. A little far from union station. Pool was very nice and perfect for sunbathing and hanging out. During the times I was there it wasn't too crowded. Staff was really good and accommodating.
