The headboard was very worn and slightly dirty, there was pieces of duct tape along the side of the headboard, a few random stains on the furniture/carpet, and the baseboards were very scuffed/dirty.

There were only two significant drawbacks, both related to each other: (i) the window frames weren't really the most modern, and given the low temperatures at night during the stay, the room would become extremely cold as soon as the heating was turned off; (ii) the heating system was extremely noisy and a bit outdated.

The location was very good for the purpose of my stay! The room was overall very good and quite spacious. It was great to have a fully working kitchen available in the room, equipped with all the necessary amenities. A big plus was the extremely well-functioning WiFi — a service which is not always available for free in U.S. hotels.

The upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel went down since previous visit. Was a bit disappointing.

Unbeatable price-quality ratio for relative large suits so close from boston, and with so much commerce around, not only can you drive from the hotel easily to boston even at rush hour but you can walk to nearby barnes & noble, market basket, etc etc, all accessible with large sidewalks. Friendly staff, efficient and working facilities, fully equipped kitchen with all necessary, perfect for week long stays of entire family, nice living room kitchen area separated from room for a family of 2 adults and 2 children

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious, providing a comfortable environment for our stay. The staff was attentive and helpful, providing useful local recommendations and promptly addressing any requests we had. Their friendliness contributed to the positive atmosphere. The room itself was well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and thoughtful amenities. We almost felt like being home, because we haven't missed anything. In summary, our experience was very positive, and we would consider staying here again if we return to the area. Thanks to the team for making our visit comfortable.

I booked through booking and they said I could check in at 15:00 but when we got there it was at 16:00. Breakfast was limited.

My room door frame clearly had been pried open at some point. There was an attempted fix but it was clear the door frame was damaged and didn't quite set correctly any more.

Breakfast was 7-9 am, ended much too early. A bit expensive for being 25-30 min from Boston (sometimes even more during traffic), housecleaning was supposed to come but did not change sheets, etc not gave towels

The only thing we noted that needed attention was an electrical wall outlet that had become loose.

Appearance, roominess, and cleanliness were excellent. The supplied kitchen wares and appliances, in particular, were unexpectedly nice!

The shower plunger in on room did not work. The breakfast on Sat morning was not good, but on Sun it was a lot better.

The rooms were spacious and while the location is a bit away from Salem, it was right off the exit of 95. The rooms had everything you needed if you wanted to spend some money. There was an issue with the Shower plunger the first night and while they could not get it fixed right at that time, the staff provided access to a room with a working shower.
