I didn't like being on the second floor. I didn't like paying extra for my pet, even though its a pet-friendly facility.

Needed a password for wifi rather than the open wifi for my work laptop to connect. Was told I had to join a membership to get a password and still couldn’t figure it out.

In terms of cleanliness, the room could be better vacuumed, especially behind furniture. The bathroom also had some hair from previous guests.

There really isn’t anything we didn’t like. We could hear others in their rooms plain as day when in the hallway but it didn’t bother us in our room.

Staff was very friendly and the rooms were stocked with everything we needed. The king suite was very roomy! The breakfast was delicious.

We stayed for four days - need to ask for supplies- towels - dishwasher soap- coffee sugar door was hard to open and close when entering and leaving the room- bathtub not clean - missing utensils and pan in the oven left with grease in it

The young man who checked us in was rude. There was a sign up stating they were on the property and would return soon , although there was a man sitting somewhat off to the side behind the counter. I waited several minutes, and he never stood up, and I never heard him speak. Eventually, he made a gesture. I asked if he was there to check me in, and he said, " Well, you are looking at me, aren't you?" unnecessary comments. We travel with a service animal since we have vision and hearing issues. He needs customer and ADA service training. On the other hand, all other employees were wonderful. We stayed there previously when it was a Residence Inn. Some things were not as nice. Previously, the kitchen was much better equipped. The bath pnly had 2 towels and 2 washclothes. Overall cost cutting was obvious. It was just ok where previously we had recommended it to several others as a great place to stay.

We like the location and the ease of having everything we need when visiting family in the area. We enjoy the breakfast at our leisure without having to go out. The room is spacious.

First day having breakfast, the lady who works there was trying to take out one of my kids from the stroller to put in the high chair, ma’am!! You don’t do that with somebody else child, ask first!! My child doesn’t know you!. Rooms need some maintenance, smelly carpet, a lot of hair behind bathroom door. For the price should be more clean. At check out I was asking for a receipt, lady said was not allowed give it, wherever was too early to have an argument with her. They have obligation by law give you a receipt, wherever you booked 3rd part or not.

Needed a better variety of fresh fruit. In the centre of my suite/ bedroom the carpet was coming apart and frayed. It could have been easily repaired. Reception staff had a lazy and ‘don’t care’ attitude which was clearly initiated from their management. For example it took requests over four days to get a scarring pad for me to be able to properly clean a cooking pan in my kitchenette. Also I mistakenly left my new thermos mug in the breakfast area and in the evening when I asked for its return all I got was “ it’s probably been thrown in the garbage”. I had always thought that the Americans gave excellent service, but found out that in general their “how are you” is as far as it goes. After that they do not want to know or want to make any effort. A main reason I selected this venue was the swimming pool. There was no indication on either their or your website that this outdoor pool is always emptied and closed from October in spite of the temperatures being in the mid 70sF / 24C. There was NO apology from reception , but just more of the same disinterested and ‘unfortunate’ attitude from staff. In spite of asking at reception, nothing was done to stop the person in the room above me dropping what sounded like marbles crashing on a tiled floor, at 5am every morning! The one evening I was back early at the hotel and expecting to watch a bit of tv the tv switched on but then suddenly went to “no connection” . There was no sensible or active help offered by ‘dont care’ receptionist, just a “someone will take a look at it tomorrow” !

Breakfast was well laid out and overseen. Good variety. But the same every day. Self service. The pancake making machine was fun and tasty. Venue was generally quiet, Parking easy and immediate to room surrounding area pictures. Hotel and gardens were very clean and tidy.

The room unfortunately smelled very strongly of cat urine in the corner. Thankfully it was contained to the corner and we were able to move a table over the bulk of it to keep the smell down and it worked just fine for the night. We also needed to keep our dog from using the bathroom on it herself. It was not a big deal, we told staff at check in and did not request another room.

The check in process was amazing, everyone was so kind, VERY helpful. Property was great, it felt so safe. I wish we would have been in town longer to enjoy more. Being able to check-in early was really nice. The bed was so comfortable.

Only complaints were that the toilet paper hanger was pulled out of the wall and a bit difficult to use, and the faucet on the bathroom loose. Very minor but would add a lot not to have those mars. The toilet paper was also too thin. One ends up using more of it.
