Common areas like elevator and hallways were very dirty in contrast to the very clean rooms. Breakfast area was a little small and crowded at times. It was difficult to obtain things like coffee for the room and towels after the initial supply had been used.

Location right near the hwy with newer retail construction and food as well as shopping. Rooms were very clean and updated. Layout was nice.

This specific Sonesta (South Reno) appears to be under staffed. I did not see a house cleaning cart the entire weekend. They would be better served if they doubled the number of towels ( if they are going skip the room make up service).

Like the location. Attended events in South Reno. The Sonesta is right off Hwy 395 so navigating the southern part of the town was easy. It’s also next to major shopping center for convenience shopping and only two highway exits from a major mall. Good location

Stuff wasn’t working and wasn’t available and those reasons was the reason I choose to stay here. Please call in advance and speak to a staff member. Breakfast wasn’t a real breakfast. From 6:30am to 8:30 am what type of hours is that??? People are still sleeping. Hot tube didn’t work. Fire pit didn’t work.

People did not pick up after their dog in the grass pet area. So you really had to watch where you walked if you walked your dog in that grass. Poop was in many different places throughout the grass.

The rooms look nice with the exception that the towels smelled dirty, there was no shampoo or soap in the restroom, the toilet made leaking noise the entire time. The smell in the hallways was funky. The breakfast was decent.

The staff were nice and helpful. I like the location of this hotel. It’s nearby stores and plenty of places to eat all at a walking distance.

Staff was fairly friendly but not overly helpful. Interior public spaces were kind of dirty, carpets in hallways and stairs hadn't been vacuumed in a while until I mentioned it to the desk clerk then a few days later it was vacuumed. Hallway walls and doors needed paint/touch-up's. Appeared that management didn't have a grasp on details or quality control.

Spacious one bedroom suite with small but efficient kitchen. Location was good, close to plenty of services and the I-580 freeway.

Nice location in new area right off 395..away from the crowds and traffic of Virginia St. Beautiful room with full kitchen. We got the King suite with the bedroom. Price was great. Nice staff. Breakfast was awesome...but you had to get there early!! They would run out if not. My husband loved the waffles and biscuits and gravy. But negatives...sorry to say..: are: entry way to rooms and halls are filthy. Our fridge didn't work. Thankfully the freezer did so we kept putting ice packs from the freezer to keep the fridge part cold. Arrived with only 1 towel in entire suite. Had to go to front desk to get extra towels and TP/ Slow tub drain. No soap available...we had to buy our own which we didn't mind. Hot tub down. We talked to the maid supervisor Milda. She was so overworked...she can't get people to work...and it was her first week on the job herself!! She had the entire unit to cover...said she only had 4 maids. . They can't get maintenance people. She had to do it all. Supply chain issue and ability to hire enough staff is the problem. So I don't fault the hotel for these issues. People don't want to work! It's the same at every hotel right now. Dang Covid!!.

Bottom of kitchen sink was leaking. There was no toaster oven. The pots and pans and utensils were the bare minimum.

Clean room. Clean hallways. Quiet location. The front desk telephoned us right after we checked in to see if we were all good. Nice touch. The room TV was huge.

Lack of communication from staff concerning breakfast service. I missed it completely. The keys don't work well. Hard mattress. Smokers congregate outside, you have to walk thru their smoke.

The rooms carpet was dirty and stained and the bed comforter was also dirty. There was stuff left behind from previous room renters. To be exact there was clothes left in the drawers. The closet door in the bathroom was stuck. The shower wasn’t good as in no water pressure. I was also surprised by someone opening my door at 11am while we were getting everything ready to leave and check out.

I liked the location of the property and how the king suite is separated by a door for more privacy within the room.

Garbage at entry way piled up both days. Bed too hard and not enough pillows.

Clean room. They accommodated us with room that was quiet and away from busy rooms with loud noises. Staff great. We enjoyed our stay in town and at hotel. Loved the shower too.
