The phones didn’t work, so every time I needed to call for housekeeping or anything else, I had to go downstairs. The bathtub leaked and they couldn’t fix it. It’s very old and not modernized like most of the other hotels. And the cost of keeping your car there is very high. This website where I booked did not say that would be an added cost.

The beds were very uncomfortable. The sheets were too small for the bed. It was a full size fitted sheet on a queen size bed. The fitted sheet would not stay on. No grass for the dog to potty.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The room was a good size. Love that it had a kitchen. Also happy it was dog friendly.

The pool was smaller than pictured. Could use an umbrella. Also room furniture was worn. Could use a lamp and side table by the couch for reading.

I liked the location across from the Alamo and easy walk to River walk.

The breakfast was just ok but it was better than nothing. It was still great to have something to start the day.

The hotel was in a great location, very close to the Alamo and just a short walk to the Riverwalk. It was nice and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable with so much room!!! It was so nice having separate bedrooms!!

The rooms are little outdated. The parking rate ($40) could be more affordable for the guests who are staying on the hotel. We have ended up parking in a public parking building in front of Hyatt for $10 per day

Perfect location, next to the Alamo and few minutes walking from the riverside. Good breakfast included.

We visited during the festival and didn't realize it would be so crowded, but it was still nice

T staff was very nice. The room was large enough for 3 adults. The breakfast is very good. The parking (we rented a car for out of town activites) was an extra charge, is average for the location. The car was parked and retieved by tge valet, an extra convience. The hotle is one block from the Alasmo, and within walking distence of the San Antonio Riverwalk. A very good value for family traveling with children. There is a full kitchen, with a stove, a dishwasher, a full refridgerater, and cooking utensils.

There is a valet parking charge of $40+tax per night, which was unexpected. It was probably in the fine print of the reservation, but we weren't aware ahead of time. Considering we didn't take the car out during the two-night stay, the cost seemed excessive.

Location was great for The Alamo and River Walk; walking distance to both. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable.

The laundry facilities, it's just weird. You have to get an app so you can register and load money onto but doesn't work for international mobiles so you have to call customer services. Then when he finally responds, he advises you of a mobile number (which is the account number) and gives you a pin to enter so that you are registered for the app, then you can load your credit card details onto and get electronic tokens. This all seemed a bit sus to me, wasn't sure if all international travellers use the same account number, it definitely didn't feel secure so I took a pass. It may be fine but it was an awful lot of hassle just to do some washing, not to mention the international mobile calls trying to get through to customer services. The night manager was no help, he said that it was not their issue however the day staff were fantastic and found a work around so I could catch up on some necessary laundry.

Location was perfect, walking distance to the river walk and other main attractions. Slept well and hot showers which are our priorities when travelling. Complimentary breakfast. Would definitely stay here again but not if I needed laundry facilities.

The breakfast was chaotic with queues everywhere and not enough seats. I don’t really understand how you can have breakfast tacos with only the filling but there was nothing else. The room was well appointed but missing basics like even one dishwasher tablet or washing up liquid. I had noted parking was available but only found out when we arrived this was valet only and $40 a night. It would have been good to know this in advance to make other arrangements

Great location and the room was well designed with small kitchen. We were given one with a lovely view on the top floor. Minutes walk to the Alamo etc

WiFi was not available for 3 days. When you ask something from reception it takes hours for it to be delivered and you need to call multiple times. Sofa bed is in very bad shape and cannot be used. I asked for replacement and I was given foldable bed which was ok. Swimming pool had only a few chairs to sit. Only available parking is valet parking. You need to pay.

Suit with two bedroom and kitchenette is good for a family. Valet parking was very fast. I was given discount for sofa bed and wifi issue.

The ac was a challenge to operate. It was freezing when we first got in and it didn’t seem to adjust when we made changes to the thermostat. (Heater wouldn’t come on, so we ended up turning it off to warm up the room)

We had no hot water in the shower our first night, called reception and were told they would send maintenance, waited over an hour and no one came so just had to have a cold shower. The following morning we finally got maintenance to come and had to move to a different room. The aircon is not great but thankfully it wasn't too warm during our visit.

Really good location close to Alamo and the river walk. Free breakfast is basic but good. Coffee and water available in the lobby all day. Rooms are a good size and were clean.

i have arrived 12pm, checking time is 4pm. Other guests 3;30pm approach to the counter and attempting to get the key. The girl confirm my passport and credit, than said u need to wait 4pm sharp , still have half hour to b 4pm. im the only one block out to checking around 3:35. other suggestion is pay 35$ to checking 3:35pm. im very resent the behavior they show : 1)i m the only one block out to checkign 3:35Pm, or pay extra $35 for earlier 25 mins. 2. as long as enter the hotel, they said they dont have room for me, until Feb. plus, we dont have ur booking until i show it to them. Honesty, it pass the message to me is they r not happy i stay, or booking. In Contrast, they want show their authority to me. What the message i got. Except this, over all s excellent. (they dont even take good care of booking or priceline guests???) 3. i stay in Galveston 7 nites, Eilon htl 7 nites. i can cancel this booking , rebook as per nite 70-80usd. However i didnt cancel original booking and take the best rate. I show my royalty to Priceline and booking .com( thats my character)
