Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I'd like cameras for the parking lot for extra security while I leave my car there.

In my booking.com reservation it stated my room came with a balcony but i did not get a room with a balcony.
The property was beautiful , parking was a close walk & the room itself was perfect.

There didn’t seem to be much in the way of food. The area where it appeared to serve food was closed both mornings. They did have coffee available, but nothing else

The charge for parking was pretty high! There was plenty of parking in the parking lot. We recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express on Monterey Rd San Jose. They did not charge for parking which was nice. They also have a nice continental breakfast with a cute automatic pancake maker.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. I wanted to thank the staff for accommodating us with a late check out to attend a funeral. I do think the $18 a day for parking is a bit ridiculous! I work across the street and thought about parking over there next time. :(

The hotel is sprawled out so there's a bit of walking but that's just the nature of the architecture in the area. Not a complaint, just a note.

There is no specific thing to tell. The overall experience was great.

No free parking and the breakfast was not going to be available due to labor shortages. Honestly, make it very obvious that parking is $18 a day. If the breakfast is unavailable then make some concessions to guests who were intending to have it. Like perhaps discount the parking fee.
The room was very lard and comfortable. The WiFi was free and fast. The location, essentially next to the SJC Airport was idea for an early morning flight. The location also allowed for easy access to HYW 87 and nearby Trader Joe's and other necessities.

The only thing I didn't like is that they mentioned that coffee is complementary in the rooms, but they've only placed 1 coffee filter sachet during the first day, and another 1 sachet after 3 days of my stay and that was it for my 6 days stay. Also, although the room was clean enough, but the house keeping didn't enter my room for cleaning except once during my whole 6 days stay.
Location is great. It's only 2 bus stops away from the SJC international airport. A 1 minute walking distance from the Bus Stop (60), which I used to access the Stevens Creek Blvd, and other destinations. Staff are friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast is available for purchase and it's of good price and nice taste. Comfy , clean and quiet room
