The prices are going up and we can no longer afford a separate bedroom. Also they nickel and dime you for a daily parking pass, deposit for room damage that gets refunded. I recommend taking pictures of the room upon departure.

I like the types of rooms. I enjoyed having a separate bedroom from the grand kids. Next year we will just get the regular room.

Marissa Gianton made our stay a pleasure. She was so attentive to the concerns we had with the room. She personally worked to resolve our issues and eventually moved us to another room. That's what we call above and beyond service.

I didn't like that I could sometimes hear people in the next room and hall more than I expected. You could tell some of the fixtures were older, it wasn't a huge deal but I wish there were some USB ports available in case you forget yours! I also wish there was an overhead fan because the AC could only fan periodically.

I liked the kitchenette and the cleanliness of the kitchenette and the bathroom. The staff were nice and informative and everything you might need in the kitchenette and room was available. The room was spacious and had a good desk area for working. Overall I liked my stay and it was great for what I needed.

They don't serve breakfast, it's a very small fitness area in the laundry room, very organized but need to upgrade the rooms for the rates or lower the cost. Overall located in a nice and quiet area .

I cannot say enough good things about Marissa (Housekeeping Supervisor), Nurca, Katrina, Shameka (Front Desk), and Bill and Troy of the Maintenance department. Anytime there was an issue with the room, their response was timely and professional. They are such nice people and made our stay so enjoyable!

Need at least 2-3 handicapped parking spaces at ALL exit/entry doors. My spouse is on a walker and also has an oxygen tank. People kept parking in the space nearest the door it was not designated for handicapped people. This made it difficult for us when carrying oxygen tanks, groceries, luggage, etc. Also, there are too many stones at the exit/entry doors - they get kicked on the sidewalks and entry way. This makes it difficult to walk and I almost twisted my ankle because I stepped on a stone. No one seems to clean up the stones/sidewalks. There is no screen on our window; the air conditioner went out on a very hot day and we had to go thru the weekend being unable to open the window (we are on first floor)- no compensation was offered. Our refrigerator was not working and we went over 2 days. Thankfully we had a cooler and were able to not lose any food. The maintenance staff had to find a working refrigerator, had to take down some cabinets to make the new refrigerator fit, and then put back up the cabinets. The bathroom tub has no stopper - we have to use a sock to keep the water in tub when taking a bath. Again, no compensation given for any of these inconveniences, yet we have stayed here for over 2 months. We have spent a lot of money with your location, not have been given a break. One - two weeks rent would be fair. We have been here since May 7th I believe.

Check in was easy; front desk staff very nice and helpful. The hotel smelled great; the room was very clean. The housekeeping staff is excellent. If I had know about Sonesta Simply Suites, it would be the first or only hotel I would stay in in Charlotte. The hotel is very pet friendly as well.

pet fee even for a ESA certified pet, was slightly outdated and couldn use an upgrade, didn’t want to sit on living area furniture cause it was very dated and cared a smell

it was a decent stay. wouldn't call the facility a suite though. It's an updated motel. Bed was ok just very soft. no breakfast. Nice discreet location, but wouldn't say it was a good location.
