They gave me one of the renovated rooms and it was really nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable.

I didn't like the wallpaper in the room,the edges were lifting, re wallpaper or stick down the edges. I have been staying in hotels around the world since 1987 and several hotels in the USA never seen this before not good. Lastly there was a round mirror in the room which had rust in the glass or was this a feature and not a real mirror.

The construction going on above us was bit of nuisance but otherwise it was okay.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sonesta in White Plains. I have to say that even though i have a very good time and the hotel have a great and friendly staff and overall it is clean, the carpet in the room was not. it need to be change or at least to be vacuumed. Thanks

it was a very nice hotel, with very nice staff. the breakfast in the morning was good, and was for a fair amount of time so you did not have to get up so early. We also appreciate the shuttle from the hotel to the train station, it was awesome.

The upholstered chair in the room was worn and tattered. One of the bed skirts was ripped. No daily maid service; it has to be requested.

The fact that on the day we paid $306 the room was not able to be cleaned, and the reservation agent was adamant about the maids not having time due to being a full house. I should be refunded money because that service was not provided and that’s expensive with no cleaning service. Not cool at all.

The heaters in the rooms were a bit noisy, though not enough to interfere with sleep.

My room was clean and comfortable. The lobby, bar, and restaurant areas were attractive and convenient. The staff was gracious and helpful. For example, I was traveling with a friend and had booked two rooms online. Afterward, I called the property and requested that our rooms be in quiet locations in the hotel, even if that meant that they wouldn't be near each other. The staff person was friendly and sounded truly interested in meeting that need if possible. When we arrived, both rooms were at the ends of corridors, away from foot traffic.

Parking not included, had to pay $20 to park. After checking out, I noticed another fee for $24. I believe they called a destination fee when I called, they told me that fee covers the waters in our refrigerator, access to the pool. All things that are included in any other hotel, and ever stayed in as well as parking.

No early check in (or feedback) despite my online booking request Complimentary breakfast wasn't added to my package during booking, but luckily the hotel is accommodating and you can still participate. Upon entering the breakfast area I was greeted by a middle age man with glasses,, who pulled out a piece of paper while asking for my room number, which I explained I'm not on the list and breakfast should be billed to my room. Seems from that point on I was watched and just felt uncomfortable. In any case I still made my plate from what seem like a lot of choices to very few. I sipped my coffee and within a few minutes I was presented with my bill to write my room number and sign. Such a turn off I got up and left... plate of fruit, dry pastry, picked on bacon and flavorless potato wedges left for him to notice n clean up. Hotel staff should be trained better in situations like that, as we are all guest of the hotel. At 7:30 am ish, with one male pilot sipping coffee and at peace, another family of 3 sitting near the window enjoying there time together and here I am feening for coffee more then anything to be in such a weird biased space, entirely to early for that nonsense. Snack area could use more varieties (after dark, the hotel location is challenging going outside for "snack") There should be more signs to where other amenities are instead of bothering front desk (gym, pool)

Because my visit was a mental getaway, this was the perfect hotel I appreciate there is no entering room/housekeeping, only done upon request. Walking distance to the main mall, whole foods and restaurants Front desk was friendly
