The outside needed maintenance, rotten wood needs to be addressed and painting would go a long way. Breakfast was nice, but not terrific.

Air conditioning in room very very loud. No amenities. Cold water for guests only one of three nights. Zero coffee tea or snack offered at all. Others in Cape May at least has some in the afternoon. No games at all for rainy days. Great room but sterile Staff did ask any day even when leaving about the stay. Very very disappointing

Breakfast was good but expectations my expectation for a B and B is higher. It’s passes , no complaint but they could step it up . It would be a good idea to have a coffe machine accessible to guests. One other suggestion, there was no pamphlet ot info on the mansion around which was surprising. I had to ask when leaving and they pulled out a page of info. They should do a write up with some history of Cape May and the mansion .

The place is unique and great care is taken to keep it in the atmosphere of historic Cape May NJ . If you are looking to experience a historical setting this is one of the top places. Staff was accommodating and friendly.

I would have liked to have had access to some hot water & tea bags so I could have enjoyed a cup of tea after walking around the town of Cape May. We have stayed at other B&B’s that provide that amenity.

The building & grounds are well maintained considering the age of the property. We stayed here 25 yrs. ago, not long after the restoration, and found it just as beautiful now as it was then.

pillows were not at all comfortable. bed firm but ok. there is no game room or library. no place to get coffee, water or tea like most b&b’s 24/7. just during breakfast. front desk door is closed all the time which felt unwelcoming. there is no order to being seated for breakfast. we were forgotten the first day and a huge group came in 20 minutes after us. they got there food in minutes and we where right by the fountain. so I took a star off for these reasons. it is almost 5 stars.

This place is beautiful! Absolutely immaculate. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were so comfortable and clean. The location is amazing! Washington Inn across the street is a must :) Walking distance to all of the shops/restaurants. Close to the beach. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

More comfortable seating than n the room. Really the only option was the bed, at least in the room for privacy. I saw some new seating in other room so assuming upgrades are happening over time.

Excellent hospitality by all staff. Quick response to requests. Good breakfast every day! Can’t wait to go back! Every room is unique in its own way and we can’t wait to see another one!
