We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

The view was nice. So glad we could see the ocean.

The Location was great, on the beach. The Hotel unfortunately is undergoing much repair which was required from Hurricane damage. Upon completion, I am sure it will be a great Hotel again. Our particular room was hugh and very clean.

Great location and the staff is nice. Pet friendly but $75 fee, which is not mentioned in the beginning.

United States of AmericaThe room did not have a coffee pot nor an ice bucket. The doors had rusty locks that did not work well. The hotel name had changed and was confusing. The website also should have notified guests of this and that it was under construction. A construction nail was right beside our truck tire. Glad we found it before something happened.
Balcony and courteous stuff. Beds and pillows were comfortable and a decent size room.

United States of AmericaThe hotel signage is Sparks by Hilton and we were looking for Mariner. We finally had to stop and call to be told of the change. There wasn’t an ice bucket or coffee machine in our room and garbage had not been emptied. We arrived early(1:30ish) and was told check in was not until 3. When we came back at 3 we were left waiting at the desk while the lady finished up work she was doing in the back.
We like the partial ocean view. The room was clean except the garbage can had not been emptied.

United States of AmericaReserved and payed for a suite through booking.com When we checked in were told they didn’t have suites. We knew better as we have stayed there for years. Called booking.com no help at all. Next evening the manager was able to move us to the suite we reserved.
Breakfast is not what it used to be when it was a Best Western. It has been bought by Hilton and is being remodeled. Just bagels yogurt and juice for now. Not sure if that will change. Hotel is undergoing renovations and soon will be upgraded but not quite done. Our room was nice, but no coffee maker, microwave, ice bucket or plastic cups. I think in the next month that will be remedied.

I had no idea when I reserved the room.It had a pair of someone jeans hanging over the rail next to our room door.There were construction workers everywhere. Two dumpsters were visible right over the rail in parking lot.Under ground parking lot was full of construction supplies. It had flakes of paint everywhere 😩.
The room had a wonderful view.The room itself was clean .The staff were very nice.When we entered the room it was totally different from the outside problems. It was nice inside the room. I would go back after the construction is over.

Location is excellent. Love the oceanfront balconies. Comfortable beds. Room was very clean upon check in. Parking easy. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Also the booking stated stove refrigerator microwave and it had no stove. So it was a waste of money booking and paying extra for a room with amenities you thought you were going to receive and you don’t

United States of AmericaRooms that have pets, need to be cleaned properly. Make sure all furniture is clean as well. I have a histamine reaction to dirty animals, which causes my body to break out in hives and swell. My feet did that. Plus, the odor of dog. With many sprays, we were able to cover up the odor for 3 nights. Didn't like seeing a cracked glass door panel. Glad maintenance knew about it.
Staff was awesome. Very polite and hospitable. The maintenance crew was on top of things. They helped unlock my door. Breakfast ladies were a blessing. Kept everything clean and going. I believe Hilton coming in to franchise this place, no doubt the hotel will be a great place to stay. Just keep the prices reasonable. 😁

United States of AmericaOur phone didn’t work, the door had difficulty latching closed, the carpet felt damp (could be the beach humidity), the hair dryer was loose and fell off the wall, could’ve used a deeper clean in some areas (but all the towels and sheets were super clean), and the water took forever to get warm/hot (could be because it was the 5th floor and hurricane damage). I wish the breakfast had more of a variety. It was basically the same thing every day.
The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were always available and willing to assist when needed. The location is perfect- quiet on the beach, but close enough to extra activities.
