Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaWould be nice to have some water / tea / coffee in the suite. The staff provided only with 1 cup of coffee and 1 cup of decaf, assuming that 2 people are staying it’s not even enough for morning coffee for both.
Great clean suite with lots of space, some breakfast stuff was provided, but more than 1 cup of coffee would be much better ;) Amazing location right in the Center of the city, 5 min walk to the harbour. Quiet and peaceful!

United States of AmericaParking of course. With any inner-city property, you'll always run into Price and limited options. You either have the choice of using the Valet service at this property for a fixed fee, or taking your chances with parking in the available lot next to the hotel whereby you're likely to pay heftier fees to park. There is no easily accessible means to the parking deck either. So be prepared to do some walking in order to get to the deck that the hotel recommends to use, if NOT using the Valet Services. Parking access in front of the building for check in / out, unloading, or even for the Valet service, is challenging as well. I found myself rounding the block a few times as a way to allow time for other guests' cars to clear the area. While I did appreciate the room size and the front living quarters with pullout sofa bed, and Kitchenette; there is still need for updating and improvements. The bathroom layout is odd and like none I've ever seen when traveling, and it's outdated. I have to give some leeway with that because it is an old structure, but I feel the room(s) could be updated in ways that make it better-accessible and efficient. The Bed in our room was unbalanced, and not comfortable. I dinged my ankle a few times on the frame the extends out from the sides under the mattress. Some minor adjustments here and there, and this review would look a lot different.
Location is a positive mark for this hotel. It's in close proximity to inner harbor and other libations around the immediate area. The aesthetics of the hotel were interesting. A lot of Marble and high ceilings which make this location a very unique one. I read it was once a Bank, and I particularly love conversions like this. Especially the vault room on the lower level of the property. It's a very neat concept. Also, the Front desk staff and Valet team were courteous and very helpful.

NetherlandsI was expecting to have a much more friendlier staff, the lady at the reception was ridiculously bored, to get a few words from her was very hard. Same with the breakfast lady, I've asked for some gluten-free options and she rolled her eyes.
It was a nice experience, the hotel is a bit outdated but the rooms are quite nice. It was clean! Breakfast was indeed quite weak, not a lot of options (no vegetables), and most of the things were full of sugar.

United States of AmericaWell, the 10th floor has its drawbacks, particularly measly water pressure in the shower. And the bathroom could use an update (though we appreciated the ample counter space at the sink).
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Inner Harbor. It was very cold the weekend we were in town, so we did not explore on foot as much as we had hoped. The room rate was very reasonable; we had booked before the Ravens made the NFL play-offs, which no doubt drove room rates up all over the city. The hotel is a re-purposed bank building, so the layout of our room was a bit quirky. If you go, be sure to visit the floor below the lobby level to see the old vault. Our room was spacious (separate seating / kitchenette and sleeping areas), with 2 flat-screen TVs, fridge, and microwave. Since we were on the 10th floor, it was pretty quiet for an urban setting. And the bed and linens were quite comfortable. The elevators are very swift -- a welcome experience. The staff were terrific! Mr. Robinson, on the front desk, was particularly welcoming and helpful. We would return to this SpringHill Suites just to enjoy his cheerful and professional demeanor. For example, when we decided to leave a day early (because of the frigid temperatures in Baltimore that weekend), he assured us that we would get a refund for the unused night, stashed our bags while we visited the aquarium before leaving town, and was just all-around marvelous. In honor of Mr. Robinson: Go Ravens!

United States of America2 of the 3 elevators were down for maintenance which made it difficult to come and go as the 1 elevator was always in use. The breakfast was horrible. There was mold on my pre-packaged muffin and the waffles has clumps of sugar in them. The eggs had no flavor, and the sausage links were sitting in nasty looking liquid. All 4 of us threw away our breakfast and walked to the local Dunkin.
The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the harbor which made it nice to get to the local places.

United States of AmericaThe thermostat wasn't working. The room was a little chilly for my friend. The TV was kinda small for the room size.
The Tub and the bed were my favorite things.. The concierge recommended the best seafood restaurant. She went out of her way to get us the menu and even called the lift service for us.
