Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Clean rooms, friendly and welcoming staff. We had to book last minute and were received easily. Then for breakfast, we have a nut allergic kiddo. Staff brought out the ingredient label so we could make sure food was safe.

United States of AmericaFridge is in an 8 hour cycle. It’s annoying to have to remember to press it or if away for most of the day, your food goes bad. Why all of the nice stuff and cheap out in the fridge?
Room was a good size.

United States of AmericaBreakfast was disappointing: the choice is very basic (for what I understood there is just eggs one style -looking freeze-dried- and meat patties, bagels and English muffins, jam, 2 choices of fruit, yoghurt, and not-so strong coffee and apple juice). The problem however is that it runs until 9AM, but at 8.30 food is already gone and not replenished: the first morning, at 8.30, I was only able to get just a coffee, a spoon of eggs and a muffin; the second day, arriving at 8.20, I got also a banana, a yoghurt and a bagel (people in line after me weren't so lucky). Moreover, you have to pick your own table and bring there the food taken at buffet (in paper plates and plastic cutlery), but the hall was so busy that we were unable to find a table for 4 so the kids eat far from me. There was no safe or toiletries in the room, and I had to ask for room service and additional towels for the kids since they were just putting 2 sets. The pool is really a tub, so tiny, and looking at the parking (the idea of just soaking between cars was not so pleasant, so we decided not to use it even if it was one of the reason we picked the hotel). The location is convenient but you need a car: there are just roads and highways around the hotel, and walking to reach some place is really not advised. No cart for the luggage: I got them from the deposit and I had difficulties in carrying all of it by myself (and the person accompanying me wasn't offering her help). Finally, my credit card was charged in advance with "damage cost insurance", and I am still waiting for the refund which I was told would be processed after 2-3 weeks (quite strange!). Overall, It is a great hotel with a lot of potential, if just all those little issues were fixed.
Nice, clean, and comfortable hotel; spacious suites well equipped with closets, drawers, refrigerator, tables; conveniently located close to the American Dream Mall and MetLife Stadium. I was told that the bus stop to NYC was on the other side of the road, but at the end we opted for another means of transport (carshare is very popular in the area). Nice people at the reception: they were accommodating us with our request of an early check in, even if unfortunately we got a room at the ground floor.

United KingdomOnce I had booked the room I noted the stipulation that you needed a credit card to check in. I emailed the hotel direct to ask if a bank debit card was sufficient or did it have to be a credit card and the reply was that it had to be a credit card. I do not have a credit card as I am from the era where if you can't afford it you don't get it. I contacted my UK bank to ask about a credit card and realised the process was not quick and would cost me. I looked at the Marriott website that said debit or credit card was sufficient for their hotels and took a chance by not applying for the credit card. The very pleasant receptionist accepted my debit card without comment but the earlier email from the hotel, suggesting i did need a credit card, did cause me concern and needless worry.
Great location to get to New York. Public transport via the bus with the bus stop directly outside and buses appear to be regular even at weekends and buses were never full. Hotel including the room and facilities were great.

CanadaI was hoping to purchase some red wine on arrival. Unfortunately they were out of stock but the front desk clerk did apologize for the inconvenience. This hotel isn't close to any amenities so if you're looking to dine out in the area or do some shopping nearby, you'll need to use your car. Minor inconveniences. Would stay again.
Hot breakfast was great. Plenty of food options available. Location-wise, it served my purpose very well as it was walking distance to the NJ bus station that easily takes you to & from Manhattan, NY. Hotel was clean and my room was quite spacious and reasonably-priced considering the proximity to NY.

Perfect hotel to get some rest before a long flight. Far enough from the city to be out of the madness but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you into nyc in about 10 mins. Both my kiddos had their own twin sized bed from the couch and trundle bed. It was Perfect! Staff was incredible nice and helpful.
