Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom doesn't have any type of view - looks out to other hotel rooms.
The room is a big size, and contains a fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable enough, clean. Shower room was fairly modern, good shower pressure, a little bit small, but adequate. Nice breakfast provided, ample choice, and can take away if required.

Czech Republicwe loved the hotel what we did not like are the scam taxi drivers from the airport so before you travel book the transport from the hotel as they have legit transport company. with this you avoid the lousy robbers taking advantage of you (it did happen to us as well as other couple who we met in the hotel)
The hotel is great. perfect location, we did not use subway at all and walked down to Battery Park as well as opposite direction to Central Park - all nice 1-1.5h walks. Hotel is really clean and the rooms are nice and big, breakfast is superb and what is a bonus is the happy hour when you get free beers and wine from 4 to5 so very nice after all day walking :) The best seller of the hotel is the staff- Jeffrey and Hana at reception are the best. Whatever we needed they helped us. I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends

CroatiaI know it’s a NYC thing, but lack of natural light due to high rise buildings around. This could be fixed with lightning fixtures but there are only few in the room. Also, really small wardrobe, but you can manage with the couch :)
Wonderfully located 2 blocks from Penn station and only 10ish minutes walk from TS. Absolutely great personnel! Everybody whom we spoke to or asked anything were more than helpful and nice. Quick check in/check out, luggage storage provided on the day we left (they even have a scale to weigh your bags!). Rooms cleaned every day and well equipped (fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron and board). Breakfast OK, not like in European 4* hotels but I guess it’s OK.

United States of AmericaWe had reserved a King room for our stay of 4 nights and they put us in a double queen room the first night as no King rooms were available. We got a discount but it was a hassle unpacking-repacking-unpacking for just one night, what good is a reservation if they can't honor it? Breakfast area gets a bit congested during peak breakfast hours. There are only 2 elevators and they are slow, often stop at your floor packed, so wait, wait, wait, or take the stairs. Our room had a window facing an old brick building next door, but at least it was quiet.
Location is convenient and only 2-3 blocks from the Penn Station subway and train station. We took the subway from JFK and during our stay to visit various locations throughout the city, the Amtrak train to Washington, DC. The neighborhood gets a a bit funky at night but we felt safe at all times. Within walking distance to Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, and 5th Ave. Rooms are small but that comes with the territory in N.Y. Bed was comfortable, clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast had good selection and plentiful but eating area gets a bit crowded during peak breakfast hours.

United KingdomQuite noisy inside the room (aircon/fridge etc) and some other guests were serial door slammers! Room is small but we expected that for central NYC, we only used it to sleep in so it worked for us.
Fab location, great bar/breakfast, has all the facilities you could need, well soundproofed from outside noise

Location was central to everything we wanted to do. Subway was close, Times square was only a few minutes walk away. We went to two Broadway shows and walked there in 10-15 mins. Felt very safe with lots of people around.

RomaniaThe room could have been a bit cleaner (just some dust but worth mentioning). The elevator was very slow, I assume it was due to the fact that there are too few for the amount of rooms in the hotel.
I particularly liked the location, which enabled me to walk to most places I needed to be at. The room was small but had everything you need, the bathroom was clean and well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable.
