Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaHousekeeping was extremely loud late into the evening. It was quite disturbing to hear slamming for hours. My room was right next to the linen chute as well which was inconvenient. The hotel is a bit in an industrial area so outside was noisy during the week day. The vending area only had seltzer water weird they don’t have regular large bottles of water.
Stayed at the property for my birthday. Property was very clean and tidy. Staff was friendly easy to request an Uber. Nice reception area.

United KingdomGot surprised with $100 accidental damage fee that needed to be paid upfront upon check in, but it was refunded straight after the stay so it wasn't a big deal. Walk from the subway station to the hotel was in a bit of a rough neighbourhood.
Nice and clean rooms, good wi fi, complimentary breakfast was basic but ok, friendly staff. Location looked a bit rough to start with but it wasn't bad after all. Around 10 minutes walk from the subway station with good conections with Manhattan and the JFK Airport.

IrelandJust be aware of open booking that this is in Queens and it’s a rough area directly outside the hotel. We got a subway in the morning but were advised to get an Uber any time u returning home late . we had no issues, but it certainly didn’t feel very safe.
It’s proximity to the subway system. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are extremely nice. Breakfast is very good but chaotic at trush times.

Israel10 minute walk to subway, but in a unwelcoming neighbourhood.
Room was exactly right, large enough, equipped with all needs, excellent shower. Breakfast (included) was OK but crowded (more seating space needed). Checking in and out was easy and fast.

Netherlands1. Was somewhat noisy on weekends, mainly other guests in the hotel were noisy 2. Breakfast is not well organized. Even though there are plenty of food options, one needs to be careful with allergies (no signs for allergies, gluten free breads are mixed with normal bread) 3. Not many restaurants near the hotel, taking the metro to Manhattan is the best choice for a good restaurant
10 minutes walk from the metro easy to reach Manhattan staff was nice good amenities in room

UkraineIt’s not the hotel’s fault but the area around it is extremely unpleasant and didn’t feel safe, especially for me as a solo female traveler. Definitely better to use taxi after dark. Breakfast area was rather small and crowded, and food seemed to run out quickly, especially after 9 am.
The room was nice, modern and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and a free breakfast was great to have. Subway station nearby and a relatively easy commute into Manhattan. Great value for money for NYC.

United KingdomThe neighbourhood is a dive. Drug users and dealers roam the streets. 150m from the hotel is a shrine of someone killed. It can be intimidating. The breakfast area is too small and badly laid out for the size of the hotel. Not enough seats. Often you stand and wait for someone to finish their breakfast so you can have their tracks and seat. I saw a local enter the hotel, raid the breakfast buffet and run out of the fire escape twice in a week before the security guard could intervene.
The price for a room including breakfast was the best value for money I could find. The proximity to 21st st Queens bridge subway station was good. About 6 minute walk. Subway into Manhattan about 20 minutes. Staff are friendly and helpful.

United States of AmericaAyanaa. Nasty. We booked 4 rooms. One room had to be switched but the attitude of the manager thinking someone wanted something for nothing and we booked 4 rooms. Didn't like the location of the hotel and vendor on site that has a food truck (no receipt for cash purchase and being rude)
Liked the breakfast and overall comfort of the hotel. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The cleaning crew does a great job with the daily cleaning of the room.

United States of AmericaLoud at night, and I switched rooms a total of two or three times over the course of my week-long stay there. In the hotel's defense tho, there's only so much they can do about obnoxious, rude people who stay there and have absolutely no regard for others!
Breakfast that's included in the price of the nighly rate is top notch! Rooms are absolutely immaculate (and that's saying A LOT coming from me, I assure you!).
