Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

One broken elevator on the property, a missing bathroom sink cabinet in our room, and a stained carpet in our room.
Tony, the Assistant Manager, was excellent. He allowed us to check out later at no additional charge so that we didn't have to rush back from our college tour.

The hallway to the room! It was so long but we understood why once you entered the fabulous room. It was worth it.
I loved the set up and décor of the hotel overall. Its very clean and smells clean. The rooms are cozy and inviting. I think this will be my go to staycation spot going forward.

Pet cost was outrageous- dog slept on his blanket we brought in - I doubt they cleaned the room any differently and it cost almost as much for the dog to be in the room as 2 humans!

The one thing we were NOT a huge fan was the breakfast. The oatmeal was stiff, boiled eggs were ice cold and they did not have a microwave downstairs even if you wanted to warm up something that was cold in the breakfast area.
The staff at this location was pleasant. The hotel was clean close in proximity to our destination. Loved the fact they had bar who dose provide happy hour. It was short stay but overall met our expectations.

Better parking
Overall nice stay and accommodations. The only downer was my car was towed by adjacent business. I think when checking in, it should be reiterated where NOT to park because signs are not visible late in the night.

The A/C wall unit was blowing directly on the bed. I had to divert the air to stay comfortable.

They need to equip the room with more towels. They only put two in the room, and we had a party of 5 that needed showers. We had a late check in after a long day of travel, and it was inconvenient to have to go to the front desk to get more.
The breakfast was decent. This is the second time we have stayed at this location.

There just happened to be a bus load of students eating breakfast when we went to eat. The area was not being maintained- there were no spoons, the salt and pepper bin was emptied, the tables were not being cleaned. We didn’t mind the crowd, but thought more hotel staff was needed in this area at the time.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of tasty choices. The reception staff was very nice. The location is very convenient for those traveling on Interstate 10.

Water system voice was un control too laud and affecting to my room from the wall . I was staying room 126 the laud is coming from next door
Staff very nice and helpful !Location safe ! Hotel safe! But my room was not quiet. Next door water system or refrigerator water system connection’s was very lauded ! It was horrible. I was waking up in the middle of the night with this loud voice. It was so dirturb.

They could not keep up with the breakfast demand, they kept running out of food.

This is just a minor complaint, as I enjoyed my stay. The shampoo and conditioner that were in a pump on the wall seemed to have issues. They were both watered down to "help" the pump, so you got water consistently, which I know, is not what Paul Mitchell intended. I wished I brought my own, because all I got was wet hair.
The room was great. Plenty of space. Comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was good.
