I did not like the valet parking fee surprise when I got there. If it was in then booking I missed it. I would rather have it in the room fee so I know the cost before I get there and not a surprise of an additional $40 per day.

At first , I didnt like the fact that you had to valet your car and that it cost $36 per day. However, with the free breakfast (made to order omelet's!) and happy hour drinks, I felt that the cost of the valet was covered.

The included amenities like breakfast and cocktail hour made the stay so much more enjoyable. The ability to order drinks and food by the pool was also a plus. I felt as if we were at a resort property. I have already recommended the Embassy Suites to a friend for her family vacation.

The noise from the beach replenishment operation kept us awake the first night of our stay. The website stated it would be completed before our visit but when we arrived we learned it was still going on.

The staff was exceptional. Trevor at checkin was most helpful. Hunter in the restaurant made our dining experience fun and the food was delicious. Hotel is beautiful, happy hour was fun and the nightly entertainment was enjoyable.

No easy beach access. When trying to get to the beach, a manager reprimanded us and made us walk back the way we came from, only to bring us through the pool area to the exact spot he initially stopped us.

The valet fee which was required was a bit of an annoyance. there was constructions, though it didn't ruin the trip. Loud restaurant across the street, but closes fairly early.

View, lobby and restaurant were amazing. front desk and valet were more than accommodating. solid location, good food options and beach access within walking distance.

The only downside I found was that I had a studio that didn’t have a dresser and there were only a few shelves in the closet so wasn’t able to fully unpack.

Loved the location. The grounds were gorgeous. The pool right on the ocean was breathtaking. So many little areas with fire tables for a group of people to gather. The breakfast which was included was plentiful. The daily free happy hour was also a wonderful perk.

Bathroom door in room 350 (our room) was ajar and would not shut. Plus there was a loud thumping sound that would go off periodically during the night.

Never been to St Augustine and was looking for a place to stay. Very nice, just a few minutes from just about everything. looking to come back sometime in the future.

Unfortunately, due to resealing, the indoor pool was out of order, which was disappointing, but understandable. The pillows weren't the most comfortable.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It had been renovated. I was pleased that there was a nice bathtub as I'm not a shower person. The clerk who checked us in was very accommodating and let us check in early. It was a short walk to the beach. A convenience store was next door for snacks, etc. Close to restaurants. It was quiet. The clerk who checked us out was friendly. We were overall pleased with the accomodations.

Some of the items in the convenience store were a little too expensive. I would of expended more money if it was cheaper. The wall in the bedroom had “nose bugger” stuck in the wall. The bathroom shower head needed some cleaning and the room mini fridge didn’t cool too much.

The building is beautiful. The pool, the kids activities. The beach is right there! Love it. I loved the toys to share for the pool and the beach. What a great idea!

Parking was ridiculous, valet only with tips and overnight charges. Was a huge pain to go anywhere or retrieve items left in vehicle. Felt like an infringement on freedom of movement. Checkout time was somewhat chaotic because of valet parking and not enough luggage carts.
