Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe curtains did not close all the way, but the second night I chose to leave one a bit open to let fresh air into the room. Unfortunately, it let in quite a bit of light too. But the AC didn’t work too well the first night so it was worth it.
Bed was extraordinarily comfortable for one person. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is OLD, which offers its own charm.

United States of AmericaThe hotel had a few quirks, but were manageable. It wasn’t quite warm enough to have working air conditioning as we were explained to by hotel staff, so the room was a little warm. we opened the window to compensate. We would stay again though.
Loved the history behind the hotel. We were located in the heart of the historic town. Really enjoyed our one night stay.

Very nice historic hotel right in the middle of beautiful Santa Fe. The standard room was too small but we upgraded to a deluxe room on a corner, and that was very nice.

United States of AmericaThe location of our room back up to the street and at two in the morning there were ladies screaming in Spanish. I thought one of them might’ve been getting murdered and honking horns and just overall a little noisy.
I don’t think there was a breakfast, but we did eat at there, secret toes and it was very good

United States of AmericaThe hotel needs to figure out their parking. I feel sorry for the staff that are placed in a very awkward situation with valet parking. When the hotel is busy it forces a line of cars that backup the already congested street in front of the hotel. And if you’re forcing customers to valet park their car, you cannot say that you are of no fault. If something happens to their vehicle. That sign you have in the parking lot will absolutely not hold up in a court of law. Please, for the sake of your staff and customers figure something out when it comes to parking.
Great location and historical building.

FranceMy room was very small and looked upon a wall ... I suppose because I was on my own . It wouldn't be possible to have 2 people stay in that room . I also had to pay 60 dollars extra for the spa ( which was in a nearby hotel ) and valet parking that I didn't particularly need .
The location is perfect . The building superb and picturesque . Classy too and sober . This I loved .

CanadaStreet noise from jacked up vehicles blasting up and down the streets both nights during our stay was sleep disruptive at 2am. This is juvenile, counter to the community as a peaceful place and damaging to your business. Hoteliers and service community in general need to get it shut down asap

United States of AmericaThe only real problem was that our room faced onto the back of a building, and at 4:00 a.m. a huge trash truck emptied two big, loud dumpsters. The windows are single-pane and not soundproof at all, and it was a bummer. I understand that this isn't in the control of the hotel, but we requested a quiet room. There was a surprise $30 "amenity fee" that included parking and using the gym at another hotel and a pool at a third hotel. I understand a fee for parking, but since there is neither a gym nor a pool on site, it seemed a bit duplicitous to charge an amenity fee.
The hotel has a lot of charm as a historic hotel in Santa Fe. The location is ideal...right in the midst of everything. I liked having breakfast at Pasqual's, just down the block, since there was not a breakfast option at the hotel.
