Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only complaints were that there is nothing to set luggage on and not a single place to hang a towel in the room. Certainly not a dealbreaker, just an inconvenience. We would definitely stay there again.
We traveled there for a five day Chiropractic package. The hotel was located just a block and a half away, so we were able to walk back-and-forth. Was a perfect location for that. Clean and comfortable as well.

- The run-down exterior made me a bit worried at first. But inside was modern and clean so all good. - Thin walls and windows. I could hear noisy people outside very well. - Ventilation could be improved. There is a netted window I could open but I had to keep the curtains shut as window faces the hallway, so it did not help a lot with ventilation.
- The room was renovated and very clean. - Mirror was nice and modern. - Towels and bed sheets were white and fresh. - Comfortable room size thar came with a couch, table and chairs. I was able to use the table for eating and work. - Staff was accomodating and nice. Seems like a family-run inn.

I had requested a ground-floor room when I made the reservation. When I checked in I was put on the second floor. I inquired about it and the desk clerk told me it was sold out. I asked how my request 1 month in advance of arrival had been ignored and all of a sudden a ground-floor room opened up. I used the coke machine and it ate my money. I went to the desk and the same clerk that checked me in told me it wasn't their machine and that there was nothing he could do. I was confused because this had happened during a previous stay and they reimbursed me. This clerk seemed to only want to do the bare minimum and had no concept of the term customer service.
Best Value in the Huntington Beach area. Always clean and very convenient.

There was a $100 deposit I was not aware of when booking through the app. I also didn't like how the guy at check out sent the maid to the room to count all towels & sheets before giving our deposit back.

The location/looks outside looked very low budget. Room looked alot bigger in pics than it was. Couldn't use tubs for kids, shower only.
Loved the fresh modern decor. Great price.

Metal brace under the bed makes loud noise Car wash right behind Appartement ist loud. AC/Heater units very noisy.

The door malfunctioned on our second night and we’re unable to get in our room for a while. Bathroom also smelled funky.
Place was very clean and check in was pretty fast. They allowed me to check in late and out early.

There were random hairs in the bathroom and my key card kept not working. The property is run down but the room was decent. Too many wanderers outside and parking was a little tight on busy nights. Had someone pound on my door at 9 pm at night. Don't know who it was because I didn't answer but called the front desk and it wasn't them.
Price was ok for a busy weekend and for the most part the room was okay.

Needs a rug or mat to wipe shoes/feet on. The floor had not been swept. It was sandy. Needs a fan/vent in the shower area. Put hair conditioner in with the shampoo.
The remodeling was up to date and nice looking.
