The pool heater was out the entire duration of our visit, which the pool was part of why we chose this hotel. There was also a lot of construction happening which may or may not have been the reason the place would very strongly smell as though it was on fire. The thing that was the most frustrating was that we wanted to split the bill, and it took 3 try’s before that was completed properly.

The hotel mostly was exactly what was expected. The breakfast was great every morning and the staff was exceptionally cheerful. We were touring Tucson and Phoenix the entire duration so the location was easy to get to from the main highway and had a lot of near by amenities such as well priced restaurants with great food.

I had call a month before, a week before, three days before and 5 hours before arriving to make sure my reservations was good for arriving at 3am on dec 22. They told me all good for when I arrive. Unfortunately when I arrived the night desk person said sorry we over booked we have know rooms I dont know what to tell you. I told him I'm staying here for 8 days paying over 1200 bucks my room better be ready. Night clerk threw day staff under the bus by saying there are know notes in the system about me calling at all. I told him to call and wake up the manager of the hotel. Then oh my he had a smaller room he could put me in until 900 am when manager got in on dce 22. Manger did apologize they comped me the first night and move me to my correct king 2 bedroom suite. I feel that after driving 14 hrs to get there, checking and rechecking on my reservations multiple times this should not have happened. Next time may I will stay at embassy suites.

The sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom came loose. Maintenance never came to fix it. There was no mat in the bathtub.

Light above the bathroom sink was not working and did not get fixed before left. If you in the room on the weekend, don't count on problems being fixed until Monday.

Hot Buffet breakfast served by staff with eggs and bacon. Complementary laundry was a nice surprise. Parking was easy. Room was spacious and well laid out.

There were no sheets for the sofa bed, when requested I was given a single sheet. The shower took almost 20 minutes to get water that was barely warm. Because of the renovations, the breakfast was very limited.

The refrigerator did not work. The hotel was being remodeled which we were not aware of. There was debris and it was very dirty. The staff were not informative.

The furniture in the room was not good, chair had holes and torn in some places flat, no cushion. The couch, turn into bed, couch was torn and no cushion. Bed the same way. The beds were nice and kitchen nice, hallways to the room has trash sitting in the hallways. Broken plates, no one picked them up and it stayed there from day through night til next day. I initially registered to have 4 adults but it changed to three and I let front desk know, still charged for four ppl. With the price I paid and the furniture and place it should be in better condition. Stayed for two days

I was unaware that they were renovating so the furniture was a little outdated old the carpet was very dirty I was disappointed even with the bed Not very comfortable I wish they had told me that they were renovating and some of the rooms were not completely renovated and that was the room that I was in so I was very disappointed I tried to find another room in another hotel but I wasn't able to do so So I was stuck there for 3 days we made the best of it though. The staff was pleasantThe downstairs area was pretty nice and the pool was very nice

I did like the location; it was close to the airport. There were hotels all around surrounding the area that I stayed in. We were kind of century located to a lot of the malls and stores in the area

Staybridges Suites at the Tucson AZ location was not up to standard and we were charged for a room we didn't even stay in. When we arrived we gave the lady at the desk the confirmation number but instead of doing that transaction she did everything at once and gave us 3 keys. We were placed in whatever room was available. The hotel was under construction and we almost weren't able to take a hot shower. We paid $660. 77 for our room and stayed in a room that should have totaled $368.
