We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe TV guide did not line up with the channels and this happened also in another room earlier in the year. The breakfast is minimal: waffles, toast, muffins, oatmeal and bananas, two juices and coffee. Other visitors were very noisy in the morning. Another guest/friend left early because of a very loud arguing couple next door to him.
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Window shades work well.

United States of AmericaThe elevator. Obviously very old.. Also the door to our room had a broken plate in the doorjamb and we were unable to enter our room without help nor could we locked it.. It took two staff kembers approximately 45 minutes to fix the door. We were very tired and just wanted to rest. The staff didn't seem to care. In fact, they were quite put out.
Clean. The convenience of shampoo, etc., in easy to use large bottles.

United States of AmericaThe front doors were locked when we arrived at 11:30pm, no one was at the front desk to buzz us in, and no one answered the phone when we tried to call. After a 20 minute wait outside the entrance, the front desk person came back. She was aggravated and on edge because someone was stuck in the elevator and the fire department was on the way.
The room was recently renovated, and there was very few guests, so parking was ample.

CanadaThe desk clerk was not at all helpful, pleasant or knowledgeable. We got an old non renovated room where the heater did not work. There was no elevator. When we asked to be moved to a room with heat we were finally given a renovated room which was a decent room. Then charged an extra $100 for a deposit that did not get refunded for quite a number of days.
The property was decent if you got a renovated room. The old rooms that had not been renovated are very poor

United States of AmericaThe overall condition of the grounds were filled with old furniture and debris. The carpeted stairs were extremely dirty. I was aware of the hotel being under construction but they could have done better with housing the trash, soiled mattresses, and old bed frames. The lack of cleanliness in the lobby made the option of eating breakfast unappealing. It has potential but should be closed during renovation.
Once inside of the room the accommodations were decent and comfortable enough for the night.

United States of AmericaWe booked a nonsmoking room for us and our three small children, but as soon as we opened our door, which was extremely difficult to do so without forcing it open, our room smelled of cigarettes, including our bedding. We eventually found a burn mark in our comforter that looked to be from a cigarette, it even smelled like tobacco. The hotel itself is near a main highway and the walls are very thin so the sound of trucks revving their engines, passing by every few minutes, kept us all up for hours. The bed itself is not very grand and it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Once we made it back home we started unpacking and the smell of tobacco lingered all over our suitcases and clothes that were unused and still clean. Overall it was a disappointing experience.
The overall aesthetic of the room was pleasing. They served a continental breakfast which was alright. The staff was friendly.

United States of AmericaThe shower doors were installed backwards, so a lot of water got all over the floor. The contractor didn’t bring the subfloor under the bathroom down to the level of the floor in the bedroom creating a sizable slope in the laminate floor going into the bathroom. The remote control wouldn’t change the volume of the TV even though it did change channels and on/off fine. Serious lack of parking for vehicles towing trailers. The homeless tent city on the other side of the fence next to the freeway is rather disturbing. The policy of a $200 deposit should be noted on the hotel listing, not just on the front door of the lobby.
The room seems freshly updated. This was pretty apparent by the fact that the plastic wrappers hadn’t be taken off the lamp shades yet.
