The breakfast was like a buffet there were so many options to choose from. In the lobby they have a tea,coffee an hot chocolate bar. Staff was very friendly. Price was amazing. I recommend to 2 different people in Galena who were curious how nice and affordable this inn was. Don't hesitate to stay here we will be back this summer.

The hotel looked a little worn in places. I would have liked a little more variety in the hot foods at breakfast.

Swimming pool and hot tub were under maintenance the morning we wanted to use it! If we were aware of that we would have been the evening before, it is not important but it is always nice to tell the clients about what it is working or not...

everything went great from the time we checked in to the time we left, the rooms are nicely decorated in a rustic setting that goes with the hotel theme. breakfast was ok, typical egg, toast pancake etc. but good. the swimming area with the exercise room is very nice.

This isn't anything against them. The breakfast was just your typical hotel breakfast. But, if you are a family with a lot of children, it's a perk to have!

Cute place! They have a great pool and hot tub, both of which were very clean. They have a nice lobby with a fireplace and a little bar area that has a full bar and games on the high tops like checkers. Great staff.

I went on a solo vacation to explore Galena. I didn't want to stay downtown so I chose Stoney Creek. The front desk staff checked me in immediately and I went off to my room. The king room was very comfortable. Nice set up with the bathroom/closet. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked well during my staff. They didn't have a lot of guests when I checked in, so the parking lot was wide open for me to move my car closer to my room. The breakfast was delicious! I didn't really need their staff but the person who organized the breakfast was very friendly! I'm not sure when I'll return to Galena, but I will certainly recommend friends to stay here. It's about 4 minutes away from the downtown area (shopping) and it sits next to a smaller strip mall with some restaurants/shopping. Super easy to find!

Had a very nice hot breakfast in the mornings. Very good and area nice and comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the Hot Tub an evening, it was a Thursday night and it was quiet and relaxing.

Hangers for coats are at the opposite side of the room from the entry door. Not a big issue, but never saw such a setup before. :) A minor thing that could be improved easily: it would be better to have more than just one robe hook in the bathroom. You need at least two when you travel with kids and go there to change your dress.

Very welcoming staff, good breakfast, good bar, beautiful pool. Good location within a few minutes from the downtown, and 10-15 min to Chestnut ski resort, Mississippi river and Dubuque, also with a grocery store at the same plaza.
