To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Once it was my turn she told me I couldn't check in at my room that was supposed to be ready at 3 pm. I said my check-in time is 3 pm. She said, " In a perfect world, that would be the case." "We don't live in a perfect world." She was screaming at me at this time. I told her I now know where not to stay next time. She said, "I'm glad to hear that." Our room wasn't ready until 8:20 at night. However, the new staff on duty was a sweetheart! Once we got into the room the restroom smelt awful.
I liked the room. It had tons of space!

United States of AmericaThis was likely our fault but we got checked in early and unfortunately the room wasn't quite ready (but front desk didn't know that). Housekeeping had been a couple rooms away so we figured when we came back from our family gathering, the beds would be made with new sheets. Unfortunately, we got back around 11pm and the beds weren't made but it was late so I didn't want to cause any trouble. I think it was just an oversight and front desk did assure me when I was checking out that she was sorry that had happened and that (should it ever happen again) to please come and someone would be available to help out. It was handled very well, despite that little issue.
The front desk lady was wonderful and very upbeat, she made checking in a joy!

United States of AmericaThe floors were dirty (when we walked barefoot, our feet turned black), and there was some trash under the bed. There was no remote for the television in the front room, but I did not have any expectation of two televisions. The one television I expected worked perfectly. I did not complain about any of this while I was there, we were gone most of the day with family, and I did not get a chance - I am certain the manager would have had the room cleaned if I had complained, she was very nice.
I did like the kitchen, in general. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was effective. We had plenty of room in our suite for 4 people. I really liked the amount of storage space, we had plenty of drawers and shelves for everyone to unpack their suitcases.

The location to Six flags was great. Beds weren't terrible, cool that there was a microwave. Overall okay. The staff was nice.
