Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe unit we stayed in was on the 3rd floor so the WiFi was weak, TV buffered every 15 seconds. A bit noisy at night after “quiet hours”.
It’s spacious & nicely decorated .

United States of AmericaUnit was not clean. Listing says NO PETS, yet thus unit was loaded with pet hair everywhere. Mattress thin and worn out. No lamps anywhere. We spent our first several hours there, cleaning and cleaning.
Ground floor. Location. Modern decor. Spacious. Full kitchen. In unit laundry.

United States of AmericaThis unit was a little more (used) feeling than the last one purchased.
I liked that the rental was on the bottom floor and provided a private entrance.

United States of AmericaThe neighborhood was a little suspect but the unit felt safe and spacious. A few hardware faults and overlooked items in cleanings but otherwise very comfortable.
Super comfortable space with plenty of amenities in-unit.

AustraliaThe bed was just a double size and absolutely too small, the mattress was hard and very uncomfortable and hard strange hard bracing around the edges. Security concerns me, we were woken on the first morning by someone wanting to change a filter - he did knock but didn’t wait for us to unlock and open the door, he unlocked the door using the lock code and came in - not happy about this … there should be chain locks on the doors.
The apartment was a good layout and comfortable for a short stay.

United States of AmericaWe had been in our room for about 30 minutes when another couple showed up that was booked to be in the same room. I really hope the other couple was able to get it worked out and found a place to stay. The bed was the hardest thing that I have ever slept on. I really underestimated how bad it was from other peoples reviews.
Extremely clean and nice place to stay. It was close enough to everything that we didn't have to go far for food or anything.

United States of AmericaThe hallway outside the apartment was enclosed, but exposed on both ends. Made it a perfect wind tunnel, and when it gets breezy and cold it can get a bit chilly. Not a bad thing, but just something to be aware of. The only other thing was the communication with the host in accessing the apartment. I got what I needed eventually but it was a bit slow. Again, more just an FYI thing. The bed was a metal frame with a mattress on top. Some of the reviews complained about it but I didn’t have a problem sleeping there. Seemed OK to me.
The apartment itself was nice and clean and was perfect to stay in while visiting my son. Small and cozy…more of a basic starter apartment with kitchen etc. The TV was streaming channels only but I was fine with that. It also came with a washer and dryer which was a bonus. In all it was a lot better than renting a hotel room. The area seemed safe as well and parking in the parking lot was not a problem

United States of AmericaThe bed is a rock hard futon. Luckily I learned my lesson a few years ago, and travel with a 3" thick foam pad now. Apartment is about 1500 feet from the railroad tracks, at an intersection, so every train that goes through, has to blow its whistle repeatedly to warn traffic. The trains run every couple of hours, all day and night. There is no wifi. I thought there was, in the description. It is a very large apartment complex of mainly college students, so coming and going all night long, and a couple of homeless guys hanging around, going through the dumpsters, and checking out parked cars. (They were there every day/night, not just once or twice).
It was nice to have a full apartment, and a kitchen available. It was Very clean. Even though it is a very busy college student filled complex, it was easy to find a parking spot in the parking lot, even on the weekend. No wifi, but channels available on the tv. It is only 30-40 minutes from Mammoth Caves, which made up for other things. It is in Bowling Green, but closer to campus. "Downtown Bowling Green" has to be driven to, but it is only about 5 minutes away.

United States of AmericaThe apartment is on the 3rd floor and has no elevator. When taking shower, the water pressure is just okay, could be better.
The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Easy door key code access to the apartment. Full kitchen. Surprisingly has a Brita jug in the fridge which was awesome. Just have to refill and have filtered water ready when you want. The washer and dryer are quite quiet when using. Has free parking and very close to a gas station. The area of the buildings are also clean.

United States of AmericaNot clean at all for my second visit-dirty both times. Hair and crumbs in drawers, etc. Rug is filthy. Parking at night is horrific-there is barely any designated guest parking and if you park somewhere else, you will be towed. And I reached out to booking.com last time I was there to no avail…

United States of AmericaThe communication with the hosts is awful. They aren’t very helpful or accommodating. There is no such thing as extending your current reservation, you’ll have to make a new one if you need to extend & then move somewhere else on the property. Staying in the same unit wasn’t an option for us even though there was plenty of availability.
