There was a problem either the shower in three middle bathroom. The hot water is blocked and you cant use it for showering. All other baths are operational.

You get these check in emails that must be automatic because when I replied there was no reply - the hot water didn't work in one of the bathrooms, no reply. There's no heat in the living room, just a wood stove, but not enough wood to make a fire, no reply. You get the feeling it's run on auto-pilot, just waiting until the day the house slides into the ocean, which won't be long, because it's already tilting, the back of the neighbor's house is already gone and some of the old highway (which is why they diverted it)...so don't wait too long!

The house has a stunning view from the living room, porch and back bedroom; the living room, dining area and kitchen are in a nice open plan with a high ceiling, and the bedrooms have plenty of room - three doubles and one bunkbed in total, three 1/2 bathrooms. What they don't tell you is that highway 101 has been diverted about 100 yards away - it used to run right by the front door, now it's much more pleasant than it must have been in the past.

The location of this house is spectacular, it was a special moment. All the rooms with their own bathrooms makes it easy for all staying. A nice feature. its all about location..

There was absolutely no cell service (no fault of the owner); however, there was also barely any wifi. The first night we were there, no service at all, no working wifi, and the land line did not work, so I couldn't even call the owner to ask for help. The next day we found the Verizon Hotspot box, but the signal was very weak (have to sit right next to it to get a signal), would go in and out, and could not be used by more than 2 people at a time without dropping calls/internet access. Also, the large bedroom with the 3 beds had no hot water in the bathroom. Luckily, there were 2 other bathrooms with showers, so not a huge deal.

The location and the house are gorgeous. The view is stunning. The house is very clean and well stocked. Despite the issues with the wifi and hot water, it was a lovely stay.

It would be nice to have a screen door on the living room slider. I understand the mist from the weather and ocean cloud the windows. I bought some Windex in order to clean the windows for a better view.

The house overlooking the ocean is beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the waves and the sunset.

We wish we would have brought our non stick pan to make eggs and a cookie sheet for the oven. We weren’t making cookies but wanted a sheet pan for a couple of meals.

The house and the view are stunning. We saw the greatest sunsets. The beds are very comfortable!!

Owner was easy to work with, responded to inquiries quickly and informed us in advance that the WiFi was not working due to recent storms. The house was perfect for us, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the most AMAZING view overlooking the ocean. Epic sunsets from the living room every night. We would definitely enjoy staying there again.

We stayed in Bodega Bay, California. Regarding the house I rented, we had real concerns about the safety of the house. The area in front of and around the deck was sliding down the hill - covered with tarps, sandbags (erosion control). Part of the deck was roped off due to deck stairs actually falling off into the eroded area. Another part of the deck had no railings. We were told not to lean over the railing but honestly we didn't even feel safe walking on the deck and so couldn't enjoy it . Alsoa flooring inside the house is uneven, had has weak spots and slopes in different directions at various points in the main room of the house. And the house next door appears to be falling down the cliff. This can be seen from the inside and outside of the rental home. We asked Tyler about this and he insisted the rental was safe, the deck was recently replaced (doubtful) and the erosion control (tarps, sandbags, ropes) was normal. I disagree and feel that the home appears to be unsafe (esp. the deck which was unusable) but I think at very least communication about how the house was determined to be safe would have been good to know in advance. Or at least information provided to the renters when they arrive and see the state of the situation. A reasonable person would be concerned after seeing the neighbors house without any foundation ready to fall down the hill and then the "erosion control" and instability of the floors in the rental. I cannot leave a 5 star review for these reasons- we felt the Stunning Oceanfront View house is likely headed down the cliff like the other homes that disappeared from the cliff in recent years (google maps shows addresses that disappeared and walking on the road makes it evident). It was scary and not worth the premium we paid for the house. Unfortunately Tyler didn't want to provide any partial refund for our concerns.

The home is clean and has all amenities needed. Enjoying the ocean view from inside.

There were bugs and water damage from recent storms. Didn’t feel that clean but hard to tell if that was from the storms or was the norm.

The view and sound of the ocean was incredible.

The light being out in the dining room for 3 days. Dealing with the dead animal in the wall 3 days after complaining about it. The floors were really dirty. We were accused of breaking the wifi jetpack. We didn't do it.
