Rich has a lovely home and a gracious host. We really enjoyed our stay. He even gave us some suggestions on where to go and eat. Location is in a quiet residential area. It was perfect for us as it was near the venue of our get together.

A little confusing in respect to how to enter the guest house, and where to park. Only possible negative I could think of was the hot water in the shower, while plentiful, was kind of skittish. If you turned it down to save water in the middle of the shower, it took close to a whole minute to get warm again if you put it on pause, or turned it down

Very nice Suburban setting with a park like or out in the country feeling. It was a simple accommodation but met all of my needs easily. I had to stay near the local hospital for surgery that week and I would stay there again if I ever had to have surgery there again

Great location, owner is easy to get along with and very accommodating. Great for the simple and casual traveler looking for a location just outside the busy places but close and convenient to shops and restaurants and the Rose Bowl.

The cottage door was stuck shut and we had a very hard time getting it opened. But Rich had it fixed the next day and it worked just fine after that.

Initially we were put off by the room inside the house but Rich was able to switch us to the cottage onsite but it cost more.

We had expected a separate house, but it turned out to be a bedroom and separate bath inside the owner's house. Upon leaving, we found out there was also a separate guest house in back.

The owner was very nice and cordial. Good hospitality. Nice person and very helpful, including adjusting the temperature. The bed was comfortable. We got a good night's sleep. The neighborhood is nice. Quiet. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The property was very serene and beautiful. The host was extremely accommodating and ensured that our stay would be comfortable and exciting. There was easy access in and out of the home and the room was very comfortable and spacious. There was Wifi and a TV with Hulu, Netflix etc. My friend and I were in and out, which wasn't a bother to the host. We found parking easily around the area and felt very safe at night.

This house is located in a beautiful, quiet established neighborhood. Rich is a terrific kind and friendly host and a great communicator. The backyard is a peaceful oasis. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and well kept. Comfortable bed with nice linens and a hot shower with plenty of water flow. It was just what we were looking for and we are extremely happy with our accommodations.

Reading the ad, I thought we were renting a house. Instead, it was a 12x12 ft room with the bathroom across the house. The house was hot, no way to control the heat from the bedroom. On arrival it was clarified that we were renting a room, not the house, and we ran into strangers renting other rooms in the house unexpectedly. The living room entrance was occupied by the owner with his walker and side table, which made it difficult to access the living room, tv, back porch area. The photos, however, were wonderful which showed a back yard with grill, hot tub (later found to be not operable), patio table and chairs, and nice kitchen. We arrived thinking we could have my daughter and grandson come for dinner, but that did not work out. We did access the kitchen to heat water for our own coffee pot. The sink had dishwater in it, and there was food on the floor under a table. We did not feel welcome to use what was in the photographs. We left a day early after a miserable hot night in the bedroom. There was a nice fan and tv in the bedroom.

No privacy. In a very small room down the hall him the owner. The bathroom was convenient. I can't believe booking.com allows this listing on their website. I'm out $250 and I didn't even stay there I was so uncomfortable 🥵

Honestly there was not one thing about his place and him as a person that I did not like.

Very homey environment felt like home away from home. Rich is very knowledgeable of the area and will give you several options of places to go. I came for a concert so I didn't actually go anywhere until after I left his house but he sure suggested the perfect place. He was very accommodating as my flight came in very late. I was so hungry, and I had a lot of snafus before I got to his place. Keeping in close contact with him, not to keep him up all night, he suggested I go ahead and come on and he would make me breakfast at 1:00 in the morning! His place was very clean very comfortable and I had the use of my own bathroom that I could keep however I wanted to as I came and went. I would definitely book this place again and he has a lovely guest room out back for more than one person.

The location was fantastic. Very safe and quiet. My sister and I had no concerns walking back that night from the Wine Walk we attended that was a little over a mile away. Our host was very knowledgeable of the area and helped us find places to eat. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay! Our host was super friendly and helpful, making recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to dine at. We could come and go as we pleased, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming at all times. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely try to stay there!
