One of the beds were broken, which we didn't notice upon check in, but did in the morning, after wondering why the bed felt lopsided. We did report this in check out and the staff said they would look at it. The TV remote was dysfunctional, it only changed channels going down and the volume controls were poor.

Location was convenient, room was comfortable and clean, staff were polite. Price was excellent. Breakfast was good. Easy access to local market and other stores.

A little run down, but good quality for the price. I did not walk in expecting 5 Stars, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was definitely okay, they offered a little something for everyone. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Bed too high, especially for any handicapping condition. Shower chair was not clean(fecal matter). Non- smoking room had strong stale smoke odor.

The kitchenette was nice. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast was typical premade/ heated eggs and cereal. Mini omelette was cold although in a warming tray.? Orange Juice was typically diluted and sour. Coffee was ok.

Motel style was easy access to car but parking was full so had to squeeze in far away spot.

Close to the highway (I-81). Large efficiency room. I only stayed one night but if you need a long term stay this is the place for you. The room had a 2 burner cooktop and a large refrigerator. Nice outside pool

We had online reservations, but our room had been given away when we arrived. We were offered a room in the sister property. It was a bummer, but we got over it.

We liked the breakfast as well as having a refrigerator. Also, the bed and pillows were comfy.

The king efficiency room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Pets were also welcome.

Our room (#310) had tons of issues. Mold was in the ac unit, fire alarm was missing, greasy microwave, carpet wasn't vaccuumed, the tiled bathroom floor was super sticky, black spots around the tub, and a lamp was barely hanging on to the wall. Even the hot and cold knobs for the shower were wrong. The lobby strongly smelled of mildew when I went to check in on Saturday, 10/7/23. I had no other lodging option since everywhere I could afford was booked. No one was at the desk for me to talk to when I turned in the room keys at 7:30 a.m.

Close to Antique Mall and not too far from downtown Staunton. McDonalds and gas station nearby. Check out isn't until 11 a.m.

My room smelled like stale smoke (supposed to be a non smoking room). The ceilings had serious water stains but no big deal, as it was dry but aesthetically looked gross. The floor was “sticky”. Shower had a chunky red substance splashed in the wall, which I cleaned. I think it was vomit. Then I found hair in the bathtub and more on the bathroom counter. The soap holder had dried dirty soap underneath the new soap that was in a package. The bathroom door had a splash of something white dried all over it. The main entrance door had a dried up piece of toilet paper stuck to the back of it, like people may have had a spit ball challenge or something… Then the tiny bugs…they were small and on my bed but I was exhausted so just brushed them away and went to sleep. Woke up to a bite on my hand and on my forehead. Weren’t mosquitos. Staff were great the next day when I told them. A cleaner came into the room to clean up. I was patient and kind to her but annoyed, as I had a lot of preparation to do (the reason why I travelled there). When I went to check out, they asked how my stay was so I was honest and told him the room was dirty. He said “maybe I’ll give you a discount next time you stay”. Lol. I told him I’ve come a very long way and will never come back. I would have expected at that time he would have offered a small credit for the inconvenience.

The breakfast was very good. Loved the fridge and stove as I was staying for a few days.

Upon arriving in the parking lot, lots of random people hanging out in the parking lot, outside rooms, there was people’s laundry spread out on the railings. The room smelled like mildew or mold. The toilet seat was flopping off and I needed to screw the seat back down. I also needed to clean the sticky floor of the bathroom and vanity area. I wet a hand towel and used my feet to clean the floor. The white hand towel was black when I finished!! I was in room 407. They offered me room 408 and the smell was much worse. It was late, so we stayed. This hotel does not seem safe!

It was in a pretty secluded, less travelled location and easy to access from the interstate.

Ground around outside the rooms covered with cigarette butts. Stairs are uneven and we tripped going up and down. Our sink and shower were not clean. Hair left in and around sink. Shampoo bottle was used and half empty. Smoke detector battery removed and battery tray left open.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was great. Pool was nice. Location for antiguing, food and sites was good. Highly recommend Cicis Restaurant.
