Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Although there was a refrigerator in the room there was no ice maker in the building. It was not enough if you needed to fill up a cooler. There were no vending machines. There was no breakfast.
The front desk person was pleasant. The room was comfortable. There were dishes and pots to heat things up. The refrigerator worked well. The bed was comfortable. They did allow pets.

I didn't notice when I booked the room, but they don't provide breakfast. They explained that's because every room has a kitchen and they have foods available in their small hotel store. Had I noticed while searching to book a room, I may have selected a different hotel with breakfast. Our stay was a quick overnight sleep during travel. Fixing our own breakfast wasn't something I'd planned on doing. If we had been staying a few days, a trip to a grocery store would have made the in room kitchen a big plus and the lack of breakfast a non-issue.
Room was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable.

Called the hotel several times, the automated service told me it didn't accept international Calls and hung up on me. Then I called the number off candlewood suits website and it transferred me to a international answer service.

Was not able to get the rooms Booking.com told us. We were supposed to get a room with two beds but got a single bed with roll away bed. The problem seemed to be with booking.com.

I couldn’t get ice or water, I didn’t know if i could drink the sink water. They didn’t set out toothpaste which I didn’t bring because most hotels have it available to you

Wrong room types are listed on Booking.com and need to be updated by hotel management; there are no smoking rooms at this location. Beds are very, very firm. Icemaker takes several hours to produce a decent amount.
Room was quiet and clean. Front desk staff was pleasant. Having a kitchen was very convenient. Fairly priced with free Wi-Fi and close to St Louis.

I have never been to a hotel that did not have blowdryers. I had a flight to catch and had to go to walmart to buy a blow dryer. Really? They said they were on back order. Me the customer...who cares why you do not have one...my concern is that you DID NOT HAVE a blow dryer. The guy at the front desk said...yeah we get lots of people asking for them, but we just don't have them right now. I have an idea...go to walmart and buy 6 blow dryers to leave at the front desk for your paying customers. Lack of concern for your customers and laziness. The general manager needs to learn what it means to be a manager. 100% lack of concern for your paying guest.

The rooms and the location was excellent. Had booked 2 rooms and only had one confirmed when I arrived. Shannon at the front desk worked out the kinks and gave me the last room the had available. She was amazing and very friendly.

Walls are too thin. Heard the next door people all night with a crying baby who was running the halls until 3am. No face towels available. Used the next size up to shower.
