The corridors to the apartment were absolutely filthy. My initial reaction when I saw the state of the carpets was absolute dismay. However on entering the apartment I was pleased to see that the apartment was spotless Just be aware that when leaving the apartment there is a special way to lock the door. I had no issues about the unit itself. The building as a whole was really complicated to maneuver around and locate the unit. No signs pointing to where to find units or clearly define parking garage access but that is not an issue for the owner of the unit

Check-in was delayed due to being given an incorrect code to the lockbox. The host responded after an hour with the correct code and from that point everything went to plan. Presumably this was a one-time glitch. The host was generous enough to have given me an early checkin although that turned out to be a wash as it took an hour longer to get access. The host never apologized or explained the glitch, not that I should expect anything, but if it were me I think I would have added the word “sorry” to the new code. Overall though this is a really good stay and my access problem was probably not typical. Due to building security (which is good) you can’t use the elevators until you have the key from the lockbox. If arriving by car then no problem, but by foot you have to wheel your luggage up the ramps to the top of the carport to get the elevator/apartment keys. Once you have the key then no problems.

Everything you need for an extended stay - fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and building pool and terrace facilities. The location is excellent, immediately adjacent to the ASU Tempe Campus. There’s a Trader Joe’s a couple of blocks away and a bunch of food outlets and Starbucks both on-campus and adjacent. It’s a short walk from the valley light rail so easy transfer from the airport plus access to downtown Phoenix and Mesa. As I was on campus all week there was no need to rent a car. The campus is beautiful, car-free, and felt very safe walking at night. I would choose to stay here again

When we arrived, it looked like the unit had not been cleaned before our check-in. There was a load of wet laundry in the washer, and cooked food was left in the oven. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and it did not work, so we had to hand wash our dishes. There was a hairdryer listed on the amenities of the booking, but there was not one. When we requested one from the host he gave us one that did not plug into an American outlet. We finally got a replacement after a couple of days. There are also no beach towels for the pool, so we just had to bring bath towels to use there. I would have preferred it if this was mentioned on the booking.

The property building itself was super nice and in a convenient location.

Feels a little small sometimes but I’m not even complaining I was once person it was plenty of space for me alone

Took several communications and an hour+ to get to the correct lock box for keys. Zero toiletries; expected at least shampoo. No extra TP. No parking permit. Broken towel rack that apparently the owner knew about and just said , "yeah, that never stays up." So didn't care to repair/replace. Wet linens in the washer. Dry comforter on top of the dryer. Expect to have at lest coffee for the morning, but nothing available except a coffee maker. Several texts to owner once I found how to connect with them. But no interest at all in addressing any of my issues. No directions about how to get to the rooftop pool so I gave up trying to find it. Had just left an Airbnb in La Jolla and left for one in Sedona and this was the most disappointing of the 3.

Place was comfortable and nicely outfitted except for concerns noted below.

This place has everything what I needed for staying for 10 nights. Access was pretty easy and property management responded quick even I booked this place late time.
