Since there is no longer any property manager staff on the premises, the property has gone downhill. The air conditioner was off and so was the refrigerator. Additionally, the door code didn’t work, and the maintenance guy who showed up unannounced was rude and took no pride in his work.

I have been staying at Sunrise Gardens for many years, long before Vacasa took over management. The location is the draw for me.

Insufficient cutlery, small pie pan, no clothes hangers, no salt & pepper, only a dribble of water at the kitchen sink, a water leak from under the fridge ( which we couldn’t figure out.

I don't like that there isn't someone on property to address issues.

I have stayed at Sunrise Gardens more than a dozen times now.... The location is excellent; close to the beach and shops and restaurants. The pool is usually clean but the area around could use some daily attention. I would like to see VACASA put some money into the property.... clean up the landscaping and pool area. Additionally, some of the rooms have a terrible musty odor that needs addressing.

Only issue was the water pressure of the shower, very low and hard to wash out your hair. We also had difficulty with the door lock because it didn't work but we easily called and got the code for the actual key.

CUTEST little place for me and my husband. It was just enough space for us to be cuddled up and also enjoy all the island had to offer for us during our stay. I am a fan of this place due to its location and cleanliness. VERY clean.

Air con seemed very poor/weak

Having stayed in the same unit a few years ago, we knew what to expect although the interior has been significantly updated. Everything was great, apart from the air con, which just didnt seem to have the power to cool the unit. Despite being on constantly and with all fans blowing the temperature in the unit remained in the low 80s. Aside from this, the unit, the location and the facilities are all amazing value and would definitely stay here again. Loved the walk to the pier for sunrises and cheap happy hour drinks

Not enough soap and shampoo for our 5 day stay. Cleaning fee was expensive and we were required to clean the dishes and throw out the garbage. Noisy construction next door. Construction truck blocking our parking. Aircon unit is very loud and bed not comfortable. Would not recommend this place.

Construction work being done right outside our bedroom. Had to pass dumpsters on the way to our unit. Had issues with opening and closing our door. Think it was stripped because had to make several attempts to unlock and lock the door.

Liked the location of our unit. Had everything we'd need for our stay. It was clean. Very close to the City Pier and Beach. However, with the heat the walk back from beach was really a hot one.

I didn’t like how the house smelled of just kinda musty and old. The washer and dryer even though free only one set of washer and dryer worked.

I liked the location of this resort, however the actual apartment we stayed in was pretty small and hard to get around furniture when the sofa was turned into a bed. There were no fans in either room so it got pretty hot in there even though the a/c worked there was a certain smell of like mildew with the a/c.

We stayed in 3, given we were having historically high temperatures the AC was having issues keeping up. The fan in the closet helped out tremendously!!!

The property was in a good location. Easy access to either side of the island. Very quaint and quiet.

In unit #12 The bathroom sink would fill up and take a while to drain. Also the parking area was ok except had to twice ask people to move their vehicles over so we could park in our assigned space. They could be marked a little better. If any one parked off center it created problems.

There is no bathroom storage at all, so we used the kitchen table as our bathroom shelf.

The property is situated perfectly near Pine Avenue shopping and eating. It felt private and safe.

There was no bedding provided for the sofa bed even though booking stated for 3 people & only double bed was made up. After contacting Vacasa several times, a lovely maintenance person came at 9pm to put bedding on sofabed. It's a shame that no clothes racks are provided to dry washing and we have to use dryers when it's hot and sunny - a complete waste of electricy.

The bed was so comfortable! Very good location, easy access to beach, restaurants, shops on foot. Lovely little bungalow type room right next to the pool & easy parking. Free washing machines and dryers too! Big bathroom & well equipped kitchen. Nice and quiet too.

The first use of the bathroom the toilet paper holder fell out of the wall. They fixed it promptly. The Wi-Fi went out on day two, no help there for the rest of the trip. In our case, we were visiting or at the beach most of the time. Upon arrival two dogs were incessantly barking in the apartment above us, we called the number they gave us and this was controlled within 30 minutes. The floors above are very thin, so your neighbors feel like they’re actually in the same room with you.

Easy access, very clean, pool was clean and good access, rooms were great, air conditioning was great and worked well, the main bedroom bed was very comfortable, bedding was crisp and clean and so soft, there was a back door access directly to a grilling/sitting area, our room was directly in front of our parking space so access was easy, the beach access, restaurant and shops were within a comfortable walking distance. We loved our stay! Both of us had recently had surgery and the accommodations were perfect to fit our needs! Help was just a text away, if we needed.

Unlike the previous time we stayed at this accommodation, that was probably the most uncomfortable bed either me or my wife have ever slept in. I hope this can be rectified for future guests.

It was overpriced in my opinion, with lots of extra fees tagged on at booking that doubled the listed price...a pet fee though we had no pets. I found the listing deceptive, 160 per night in big letters then when you book, an extra 140 for all the mysterious fees and taxes.
