There were ants in my bed. The parking lot was on a severe slope down from the road.

Good shower/bathroom with good lighting and a sizable mirror. Comfy bed and easy to use thermostat for the wall unit. Beautiful artwork hanging fro. The walls.

Wish there was something offered for breakfast, for the price. Did have a couple sugar ants in our room upon arrival but could be because we were on the ground floor.

Definitely a no frills motel, but it was close to everything, safe, and had well kept grounds. Gentleman at the front desk was quick and efficient. Everything you’d expect from a simple motel. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Definitely can see signs of aging, but it’s apparent they have tried to keep it updated and modern.

There was no shower curtain in one of our two rooms. This was corrected in a timely fashion. Was surprised there was no stay over maid service before our second night. Maybe this was stated somewhere…it was not mentioned at check-in. Would also be nice to have a list of recommended places to eat in rooms…maybe with a few discounts vouchers?

Room was adequate and bed was comfortable. Location is convenient and reasonably quiet.

There does not appear to be an elevator (?) to the second floor, so you will have to carry your luggage up to the second floor.

This is a basic, independent, small town motel. The rooms were quiet. The rooms were not spacious, but there was ample space to move around. The bathroom was relatively large, and had been recently and nicely renovated. There were the usual amenities - fridge, flat-screen tv, dresser, closet, iron. The location is convenient for freeway access, but NOT for walking through the historical downtown of Hood River, which is a couple of miles away. Hood River is a lovely town to visit for quirky shops and restaurants.

The refrigerator did not have an ice box. The pillows were too thick resulting in poor ergonomics when trying to sleep.

The grounds definitely need work. The bed was not supportive for someone like me with a bad back. Because we brought our dog I thought we would have been better off in a room away from others. Someone staying directly over us had her growling and even barking at times.

Central location, easy to find and access. Room was clean and well appointed, allowed my dog to stay for a small fee.

Ice machine not available during colder months as it is outside. Would like to see a little better stocking of supplies, replacing of batteries in remotes, light bulbs, etc. Some REAL potential here. They just need to pay a tiny bit more attention to the details.

This is an older motel, despite its makeover, so it has a loud, intermittent room heater. As a very light sleeper, it made it a little hard to sleep; most people would likely sleep through it. while I found the front desk staff courteous, my husband was a bit frustrated by the lack of a working ice machine and the staff’s attitude toward his request for ice.

This little motel was very clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. it was well lit and the location was quiet and set back from any road noise. seamless WiFi and decent basic cable.

Lobby was closed when I accidentally locked myself out of my room..luckily the cleaning person was there to let me in.

I think it was pricy for that tiny of a room and for the amount of time I had. Also the man was rude. The tub drain was broken and ac. The faucet was gross not enough hot water.The bed wasn't comfortable. The bathroom door lock was broken.

Loved the size of tub however the drain is broken and there are gross water stains on the spout and shower head. Also the water doesn't get really hot. The bathroom door is broken you can't lock which is very uncomfortable and scary to me. Also you can feel the springs on the mattress. The ac is broken needs a new filter it's gross. The room is really tiny so is the bathroom. They don't provide very good toiletries. They don't have blankets just a cover like topper. The man was not very nice at front desk.
