Outdated facilities, mediocre breakfast, staff was difficult to understand as they had a very strong accent. Super 8 should help and train them to speak slower and enunciate better.

Sadly, as a chain, Super 8 has continued to slip down in their facilities. Outdated and simply not what they once where as a motel chain. One example was the smoke alarm had no cover and was hanger from the ceiling by two electrical wires. Super 8 needs to step up their standards.

The first day we allowed our room to be clean both my suitcases were gone through, my electronics chargers were removed from my suitcase, plugged in and the charger I was actually using myself unplugged. The only thing missing was a tank top but I do not appreciate my stuff being gone through! Plus she made a mess of all my folded clothing. Both suitcases were open on the bed when i left, and there was no reason to go through or move them at all! Wifi was iffy - worked sometimes but mostly did not work adequately. Supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but hallway smelled like smoke at both ends - either people were smoking in their rooms or the smoking areas are too close to the end doors. The end doors did not lock, so no feeling of security. Beds not super comfortable - the mattresses need an upgrade. Hair dryer in our room did not work.

Location was good - easy to get to and close to everything I needed to be near. Room was clean and adequately set up, especially for the very reasonable price. I like that there was no carpet in the rooms because hotel carpet is gross. Front desk staff was friendly. Check in and out was easy.

No one was at check in desk and no one was answering the phone when I called. I waited almost 30 minutes to check in and since I had paid my reservation there was no way to cancel. Also, the I e machine was broken, it seemed like a lot of things weren’t functioning properly.

The room was fine and reasonably clean for the price.

The hallway carpets looked dirty and the stairs leading from the first floor down to the lobby floor had dirt and grimy crud on them that was left there for the 3 days we were there. The laundry room was sort of secluded, and a bit scary to be in alone, with a sloped, uneven cement floor and a door at the other end And the dryer took 2 settings to make our clothes almost dry. At the breakfast area there was a young man with his head down on a table who appeared to be sleeping and passing through, perhaps a bus patron as hours later he and another were sitting on a sofa in front of the motel where apparently the bus picked up riders. He stayed in that position the whole time we ate our breakfast and left for the day.

It was affordable. It was close to locations we wanted to visit. The front desk staff was helpful in getting the TV to work and nice. The lobby was nice looking and clean.

The TV remote didn't work (batteries held in with scotch tape). No facial tissues.

Brandy, the desk clerk, was very polite and helpful to get me in my room in time to get to my grandson's wedding.

No door tag to.say no service needed. They didn't have anyone working the desk til 3p. That made it hard to check in

I like the handicap room No stairs I asked for more pillows so I could elevate my legs. She got them right away

The curbside appeal was very poor: screens hanging off windows, fans in windows, an old sofa sitting outside the entrance, entrance doors to hotel do not lock at night. Rooms need to be refurbished. No one at reception when we arrived in the afternoon. A note said to call a number for service but no one answered. We went back out to the car to decide what to do. We eventually went back in and called again and someone came out. Very poor breakfast: small yogurts, cereal, milk was in a gallon jug - no individual cartons. There may have been juice and coffee, but we went to McDonalds.

Even though this is a smoke free motel, every floor reamed of cigarettes. There were dirty sheets/linens piled outside doors on our floor and they stayed there untouched our entire stay.

The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. One bed would flip up when a corner was pushed on and the toilet ran constantly until I turned the water off. The bathroom sink faucet was either plugged or had a very restrictive water flow.

The AC/Heater was EXTREMELY noisy and annoying. Room was not quite at all. We could hear everything that was going on in the hallway, including the ice machine and people talking. Would rather pay al little more and have better facilities. Probably won't stay again!

Realizing that good help is in short supply, maybe the hotel needs to use a professional cleaner occasionally. One light was out in the room (not working), the cleaning had to be reported and the lounge chair was dirty. We wanted the top floor to lower noise levels; however, it seemed that used to be a smoking floor. The stairway still had an odor.

The room had a USB charging port, which was nice. We also enjoyed having a refrigerator and microwave.

There are steps/stairs to access rooms. The facility is not easily accessible to persons with mobility issues. They considered breakfast to be either cold cereal that was stored in a hopper or yogurt. IMHO those aren't breakfast. This isn't about Covid. This is about a facility being cheap. Other places I've stayed offer the usual breakfasts, i.e. waffles, eggs, sausage, etc.
