Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

A more modern air conditioner with an actual temperature setting instead of levels of coolness, or a guide on the mapping between coolness level and temperature, would have been nice to achieve one’s preferred sleeping temperature without trial-and-error (I’d recommend setting coolness to 7). The views of the mountains from second story south-facing rooms were okay but the windows were too dirty to make them breathtaking.
The room was clean and odor-free. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, as expected for the price I paid. The staff seemed attentive. The location was good, close to supermarkets for getting provisions for activities in Canon City/Royal Gorge. I’d stay here again.

A little outdated but for the price and the location, excellent value.
Check in guys very good. Place is old but they have kept it up. Breakfast was fine. Location great and in contrast to the other chain hotels in Canon City off the main road so very quiet.

In a bad part of town and my room card were stolen from me repeatedly alone with my phone and wallet I fact the man who took my things is there right now under my name I like the staff though I’m dev disabled and I get taken advantage of all the time it seems

The Wi-Fi was not very strong. The television didn't work well had to watch the game on my phone!
The location was nice and the bed was very nice and firm so much so that we slept through the alarm. The air conditioner was very cool and had a auto temp kept room comfortable.

The utensils provided were useless, too flimsy to get peanut butter out of the jar or spread anything with.

Rooms could use a deep clean, took a shower, feet still damp, walked across carpet, went back into bathroom, stepped onto wet towel and left very dirty foot tracks from the carpet, pistachios were behind bench, previous peoples stuff was left under the nightstand. We had small kids with us, this what they found.

Bathroom floor was dirty and water pressure lacking. Also toilet filled with water before flushing. Gave my son a heart attack! He thought it was going to overflow, and so did I when I used it. Enjoyed the fresh towels and empty trash when we came back the first night. But did not restock the coffee, cups or personal sugar packets. I went to Walmart and had to buy some. I don't like to bother the staff.
Quiet property, easily accessible. Perfect amount of bedding.

Hallway carpet has lots of dirty spots that could be cleaned to improve experience.
This hotel is next door to a good Mexican restaurant, Village Inn restaurant and a Subway sandwich shop so you don't have to drive after getting to the hotel. It is also just off the main street so there is no traffic noise. Mattress was firm and sheets were crisp. Thanks!

Everything was as expected. Nothing jumps out at me as "could be better".
I didnt eat breakfast. There was not much of an option for protein. I try to eat a low carb diet, so waffles, bagels, muffins, etc are out.

The receptionist made us feel extremely unwelcome and I’d hate to think it was race/stereotype related but unfortunately it seemed that way.
