Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room could use a little more light. It was only a problem at night trying to read the buttons on the microwave.
Conveniently located right off the freeway but protected from freeway noise. Nice layout of room, comfortable bed and pillows, friendly and efficient staff, well insulated and quiet.

Really the only thing was that the bathroom was VERY cold. It probably didn't help that the window was open when we arrived, but while the rest of the room was nicely heated, the bathroom was not. They left a space heater in the room, but it didn't seem to work well. However, laying down the towels on the tile made it workable, and it was a really minor issue given how good the experience was otherwise.
Great staff! Noticed we had kids and made sure we got a room that they would be comfortable in. The rooms are smaller than I was used to, but very clean and comfortable.

Fairly clean rooms, bedding was ok, breakfast was mainly carbs. No protein options.
Inexpensive room rate which included breakfast. Staff was wonderful.

There was inadequate staff. A sign was posted at the front desk to say that for guests staying longer than one night, there would be no cleaning services offered, but guests could pick up their own towels, soap, Kleenex, and toilet paper. I did this and also emptied my own trash cans.

Bed was not firm enough for me, but I survived.

Some staff seemed a bit bothered when asked questions. The halls outside the rooms had a terrible odor and at times smelled like rotten food. We have been to this location several times and this was the first time our stay was not as comfortable or pleasant as previously experienced.
The location is good and the rates are affordable.

Door was hard to open and close, hair dryer didn't work, waffle mix had a funny taste (acidic). Staff was correct, but not particularly friendly. They had staff shortage so no housemaid for longer stays at the time of our visit.
All we needed to spend the night during our trip. Clean, large lift so no need to drag luggage up the stairs. Powerful fridge. Breakfast was fair: two types of juice, two types of cereal, milk, chocolate, coffee, fruit (apples), waffle machine and toaster. They have a charger for EV. Wifi worked well.

Shower had a leak that made the tub look very dirty. Mirror frame was broken, I doubt the mirror was attached to the wall. The breakfast area had filthy looking chairs to sit on, and the tables were sticky.
Location was good. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast prep area was clean and cared for. Breakfast selection was good.
