I booked a downstairs room/pet room ahead of time and it was confirmed. When I arrived the clerk said he had an upstairs room only. I was extremely upset by this and explained this downstairs room was confirmed weeks ahead of time and due to my degenerative disc disease in my back I could not take luggage or dogs up stairs. He finally offered me a downstairs, king room without a key for the door. Explaining anytime I left the room I would need to go to the office and get the clerk to open the door with the Master Key. I was not happy about that as it was not only a very inconvenient process with 2 dogs I intended to take to go potty periodically, I felt it left me with limited freedom to get in the room as needed without going to the office for entry. Then the clerk explained it was $30.00 a per dog which I think is too HIGH for a dog to be in the room. All this after an 8 hour drive through storms was not exactly my idea of how I wanted it to go. Had I thought there would be another hotel to stay at I would have. But, even then I would be paying for the room because I went with the no cancellation deal when I signed up online. BTW FYI I have stayed in this same hotel for over 20 years and never had any problems until this trip!!

The room was filthy. Mold in the bathroom, food was left under dresser from previous guests, my daughter even commented that there was a chicken wing under the dresser, the shower didn’t work properly.

The toilet required multiple attempts to flush. In the morning the "breakfast" had coffee with milk, I poured in the milk and noticed chunks of stuff floating in my coffee. Smelt it, and it smelt weird, told the guy at the counter, without smelling it or looking at it he told me "it was organic milk and that's why it smelt different". Seemed questionable

The pool was green, the bed lumpy, there was a co start mildew smell in the room and the bathroom needs to be painted and drained needs to be snaked. Things needs to be wiped down, some outlets didn’t work, the tv remotes didn’t have batteries , front desk replaced them for me and wish there was a lamp that has the updated usb charging spots.

Room was not clean and had an unpleasant odor. Furniture was very beat up. A little stain/varnish would make it look much better. Pull out old dirty/worn/smelly carpet and replace with hard surface flooring.

Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. Registration office was clean as was the small breakfast area. Breakfast was good for standard continental motel fare. It was hot that day but the room a/c worked well.
