Place needs an update. But bed was comfortable and clean so can’t really complain.

Comfortable bed - firm. Breakfast was continental with waffles. Older motel that could use a spruce. If you are looking for fancy then keep driving.

The hotel is in need of a deep clean. While I am confident the room was cleaned, linens changed etc., the carpet is in bad need for a shampoo and the bedspread appeared stained (again I presume it was washed but this should have been noticed and the spread not used). Other maintenance items such as a cracked and dirty light fixture in the shower and a missing bulb in one lamp could easily be remedied with a bit more attention to the little things. I did not expect much from the breakfast but was underwhelmed. The hotel was full and all they had was a single waffle maker, some mini muffins and two breakfast cereals. I was not expecting a hot, made to order breakfast, but perhaps some fruit, a bagel or even toast as an option would have been appreciated.

This was an unusually busy time for Crawfordsville, but the front desk person was friendly and kept the line moving.

Breakfast could have offered more choices besides cereal and one waffle maker. During this stay prices were doubled because of the eclipse. At those prices they could have put on a better spread.

The AC kept turning itself off and, after a few times resetting the AC, it wouldn’t stay on more than a few minutes. There were 2 competing odors in the room. The first smelled like mildew/mold though not strong. The second smelled like perfume which I assume was to hide the first smell.

It needs maintenance externally with broken cement on sides of door entry…. Room smelled with maybe older carpet, tho it looked nice. Bed was comfy, nice sheets and pillows. Toilet was literally broken, one fastener for toilet lid slipping and base of toilet loose and moving, not solidly placed or sealed . Touch up painting should be considered. not much for breakfast but nice room. Staff all very nice, no criticism there!

The small receptionist window to the side isn't very welcoming. Receptionist didn't say anything about breakfast. We stayed 2 nights and got 2 towels. No mention of how to get more.

It was a room that provided what I needed, nothing more. Very sparse, seemed very old and run down. Burn hole on bed cover and stains on carpet. Located next to XX mens club It WAS clean.

The facility, in general, could use some updates. The temp in the room was difficult to control. (The cool air stopped blowing during the night, and it got warm fast, but the cool air wouldn't kick back on. We had to get up and mess with it to get it going again.) The pool was not functioning. (We arrived late so probably couldn't have used it anyway, but - if we had been there an hour or two earlier, we definitely would have wanted to swim.)

Great location. Very quiet. Staff was nice and accommodating.
