I had prepaid for an accessible room with a walk in shower, since both my friend and I are both handicapped and use walkers with seats. It is hard for us to get into a tub. I used my debit card so all we had to do when we got there was check in. I gave them my name and told them that I had prepaid. A woman checked and said with a smile that they upgraded us, and putting us on floor 3 instead of floor 2. We thought great, we are going to get a better room, thinking upgrading means better. This was not an upgraded room. It only had a tub, no walk in shower. I called to the office to nicely request the room that I had reserved and was informed that there weren't any such rooms there. If there were no rooms like that, they should not have advertised that they did. I would have gone with one that did. When we got back to the room Friday night, we noticed how dirty the room was. The floors looked like they hadn't been broom swept in a long time. On Saturday night, I spilled some water and used a towel to wipe it up and the floor was filthy. My friend opened the curtains Saturday morning before we left, and someone had previously wrote "wash me" on the window. No one apparently did, since it was still on there. Whoever was supposed to. The mattress didn't fit on the box spring and there is an edge that had a lot of either dirt, or heaven forbid, dead bugs on it. Not really sure if the sheets had been changed, but we were so tired Friday night, we just brushed them off. Maybe someone had been staying in that room and had to leave abruptly in order to honor our reservations. The tub, sink and toilet were clean but because of the high tub, we had a hard time getting in and out of it, even though it has has hand rails. And lastly, the elevator had an expired inspection that was done sometime in May 2023 and expired sometime in January 2024. We were there May 10-12, 2024. I am sending photos, be prepared.

The breakfast was really good. We stayed two nights. We went to some interesting things at the Convention Center Friday late afternoon into the evening, all day Saturday til 10 p.m. and on Sunday morning. We used the GPS on my car and it only took about 10 minutes to get there, so the location was excellent. The price was also excellent since we only needed it to sleep, shower and eat breakfasts.

TV didn't work in room #215. Key cards were inconsistent. You had to slide them while simultaneously pushing them against the reader in just the right way. The two of the three lamps in the room didn't work.

The front desk person was not friendly and he told us he wasn't sure if the room was clean or already occupied. You could tell he didn't care about his job.

The property looked either unclean or really old. It smelled like cigarettes. The lights were flickering, the bathroom looked stained and there might have been mold. There was dust and paint flecks everywhere. The curtains were stained. The breakfast was pretty lackluster. Rate seemed high for what was there.

It was okay. Just okay. There was parking and I had a place to sleep.

The staff was rude, door was open when we got to our room, there were no blankets on our beds. There was blood on the top sheet, no hand soap, the room had a weird smell, dusty/dirty floors.
