Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I didn't like the towels in the room, they weren't very clean. I didn't really like my room, the two beds were occupied although in the reservation it was 1 bed that I had chosen. Breakfast was not continental as expected. No pizzeria near by.
I liked the staff who were very attentive to my concerns and advised me on the means of transport to choose to get around. Advice: Put a team of 3 taxis or uber at the hotel to facilitate the development of customers at a good price. In this sense you will attract many other customers.

The inside pool was very cold no water temperature at all..wires hanging out of outlets.

Our room windows faced a brick wall. We were on the 2nd floor and heard so much noise from above us. The pool area was heavily chlorinated to the point that we couldn't swim due to the smell. It wasn't ventilated very well; however, it does permeate throughout the 1st floor. In fact, that's the first thing I noticed as I walked in to check in: the smell of chlorine.
Super quick drive to the boardwalk. The beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed the deluxe suite with 2 queen beds with a separe king bed, and the price was very reasonable. The beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel seemed pretty safe.

The dryers did not work and there is a lot of road construction in the front making getting to or leaving more difficult.
Close to where we were going. Clean and the staff were friendly.

Ceiling light in king bedroom did not work. AC unit was too close to the bed. The door security guard was broken.
Great pricing for the room. Bedding was extremely comfortable. Very closing to shopping centers and restaurants.

TV didn't work. Construction was blocking the driveway and it was difficult to get in and out. The smell of pool chlorine was almost overwhelming.

The pool area didn’t seem extremely clean. The tub was slow to drain. No late check outs. Strands of hair left through out the room.

The elevator was broke the pool was really cold and hot tub doesn't work. Also doesn't have a hot breakfast only waffle.

The construction next to the hotel

Friendly staff, very quite. Breakfast wasn't good but we just ate out. The only downside was the road construction, but all hotels in Kemah have the same issue.

The construction in front of the hotel is a huge ongoing job that consists of reconstructing a major highway (Hw146) right at the Kemah bridge but by far was it any fault, of course, of hotel's, but beware, the lanes literally go down to only 1 right in front of hotel!
The room was great, clean, and a nice size for 3 adults & 2 children. The hotel staff was friendly & helpful when/if we needed anything at any time! The inside pool was a favorite of all of ours, considering it was the 4th of July in South Texas!! I would definitely go back!

It was horrible trying to get in and out of the parking lot due to the traffic situation. Most of the roads were under construction so it wreaked havoc on the location. Also we stayed over two nights. And I'll housekeeping came in and did after day one was replaced the towels. They didn't make the beds or vacuum or any of the other necessities. It would be nice if these things were done. I don't know how long they keep this going but if I would have stayed any longer than one night I would have expected these things to have been done for me.
The indoor pool was nice. I like the fact that it was close to the boardwalk and all the local restaurants.
