The tv's are bad . Few channels and bad reception. A few Local channels do not even come in.

Relatively Affordable no frills. Comfortable.

Parking lot enterence was broken, so had to walk around to the front door with all out belongings in the blistering cold. There is no elevator. So, it was a little challenging to walk up the narrow stairs with all our belongings. Walking down the hall to our room there were two guys that kept walk in and out of several room and hung out in the hall. Once we arrive in our room, door closed with the top lock on, one of those guys busted into out room. Don't know how that happened. That was a bit sketchy. Other than that, everything went smoothly after.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean.

No breakfast. Rooms dirty. Other rooms were rented out by the hour for some not cool activities. Made it uncomfortable. Used condoms were left in corner of our room.

Cleaning service. One night we found a blood stain on the sheet and the room was just had be done (and it wasn’t ours). Another day, while cleaning the room they threw away our personal soap that we left in the bathroom. The window didn’t close, even having it locked you could still open it. I would have expect this service for half of the price we paid.

It’s near the subway and the ferry station, the neighborhood itself is nice to have a walk.

Got a far more expensive quote, about $60 difference per night, WITH AAA discount when I called as opposed booking on a third party site and asked for the same exact room without a AAA discount. Most if not all rooms are advertised as non smoking but somehow both floors manage to smell of cigarette. Lastly the AC unit in my room had visible shmutz or mold all over the filter when you look inside.

Front desk staff were helpful when I had a keycard issue. Room was nice and clean.

The fan blew smoke from another room into my bathroom when it was on, which made me anxious about covid, especially since someone in another room had a terrible cough that I could hear through the walls. The walls were very thin and I could hear coughing, lots of moaning, and opening/closing doors from other rooms. The coffee maker was full of old dirty coffee grounds, so clearly it had not been washed. The room was also outrageously expensive.

Staff was nice. On the surface the room looked fairly clean. The little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were nice. There was a fridge and a window that opened for fresh air. The bed was pretty comfortable. The people in the neighborhood were nice.

I requested a non-smoking room. The Room that I was given smells like someone just smoked in the in Room. Very disappointing.

I got eaten up by bed bugs, our AC was struggling with the 95° heat.

Staff was super friendly and engaging, great location, mostly clean facilities.

Booking said the price included "breakfast on the go" but there was no food, just juice and coffee. Bed was uncomfortable, I woke up sore in the morning. Lighting wasn't great and decor very dated.

Basically the cheapest hotel room you can find in the city. A/C and showers both worked well. The hotel was relatively easy to get to by subway/Uber and check-in/check-out were quick.

Holes in the ceiling should be fixed before you put someone in room and make sure toilet paper is filled,

The people were nice great location for us, parking was a big plus, we had no room service for 3 days, they never made the beds or gave us towels or toilet paper we had to ask, but everything else was good we would stay again

It's definitely motel decor, very sad looking but then that's probably expected. There were pipes whining all night long and really loudly, which was difficult for some of us to sleep with. The staff couldn't do anything about it. Some of the staff were friendly and some very much made it clear they did not care to try. They also had never heard of holding someone's suitcase for them when they checked out, for a few hours! Motel price and DEFINITELY a motel experience!

Great little base to explore New York on a budget. Our room for 5 people had 2 separate bedrooms with 4 total beds, so plenty of room for a family. Good places to eat nearby. If you're willing to forego luxury, then definitely worth it!
