We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaHard time getting new towels. Was told too late to do laundry. No elevator, stairs too steep. Was told unable to stay on first floor due to length of stay. Bed way too soft, no water pressure, pillows lumpy, saw bugs, room eas dusty even after cleaned. Had locals tell me that the hotel has reputation of being no good. When come back to Madison in few weeks, going to spend extra money to stay in another hotel.

It was the worst experience I ever had, I arrived at night and my card was not well processed and the only thing the woman at the reception did was to throw my documents and tell me that she could not help me even and when she offered to pay with another card or in cash, she was very rude to me and to the booking staff who were trying to help me to rent something.

United States of AmericaRoom was a smoking room, when ordered non smoking. Property manager said it was Booking.com’s fault and said they had nowhere to move us. Other hotels in town were full or we would not have stayed. Room door did not open, manager kicked it open and said all due to humidity.

United States of Americathere was broken coffee machine wash machine was broken When we pull in the grass was 18” high and it look abandoned ran out of hot water there was broken glass on the south side of the which came from the windows I asked about it they said they had a bad storm 3 weeks ago and were waiting for ins to come and look at it but so many other thing were not maintained ac were dirty and needed cleaning the one in the room I was in had troubles maintaining a regular temperature They should have two or three commercial water heaters there they should never run out of hot water there’s something wrong it was the girl the desk said she was out of state three days the breakfast in the morning consist of stale toast empty waffle batter broken coffee machine sour milk for cereal the only thing that was edible in there was an apple juice and orange juice under the machines was filthy dirty I could go on and fill this whole thing out probably be a waste of my time because you’re not gonna do anything about it I took pictures we book on line at a different price waa

United States of AmericaThe property had recently be affected by storm damage. This was not relayed upon arrival and thus reflected poorly. The property had several broken/missing windows, debris scattered everywhere (even boards with protruding nails), the grass was a foot high and higher in some areas. We specifically notated we were traveling with pets and weren’t communicated about the pet fees when asked and weren’t charged appropriately, resulting in a second charge on our CC without authorization. Our first room didn’t have a working air conditioner. Our trash wasn’t emptied for the three days we were there, our room amenities weren’t refilled, as well as being assigned a second floor room without elevator/handicap access for our handicapped family member after relaying our need at the time of booking. Lastly, during our last night’s stay we experienced a major storm causing a power outage and tornadoes alarms sounding. Guests were not notified by staff at any time during the sirens sounding and we were at a loss as of what to do or where to go for shelter.
The property was in close proximity of our event.

United States of AmericaThis is my own particular quirk, but you asked.... :) I prefer to sleep in a really dark room. The curtains in my room did not really block out enough light for me to sleep my best.
The breakfast was adequate. I usually only a light breakfast, so it was just right for me as I grabbed a piece of fruit. But if I had been hungrier there were waffles, cereal, and toast options, too. The in room coffee was good and the little coffee maker was all set up and ready to go. I REALLY liked the cup of Indian tea that was brought to my room in the morning. That was a very nice touch. Not sure if that is a regular amenity, but it should be! The bed and pillows were very comfy. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
