The room had issues with lighting, some lightbulbs were broken so the room was quite dark. Wifi connection was decent, maybe a bit slow. Air conditioning unit showed no signs of life, not sure, I tried pressing on/off switch but nothing happened. Thankfully it wasn't too hot anyway. Sheets didn't look fresh to me (take a loot at photos) ! Breakfast is barely there, very simple and not exciting.

Nothing. Everything met my expectations.

A competitively priced hotel. Located conveniently for DTW airport. A basic continental breakfast. The room was as expected for this price bracket. It contained all the expected features, TV and coffee machine. The room was clean and functional. The heating worked effectively. The free hotel shuttle was an additional bonus. Convenience stores within easy walking distance.

It could have been cleaner (dirt in the corner of the bathroom and stained chairs), our microwave didn’t shut completely, and the smoke detector fell from the ceiling when we were sleeping.

It was exactly what we needed for a one night stay before flying early in the morning.

Chaotic check- in and shuttle service. My husband & I arrived prior to our 4 kids arriving and they wouldn't add them to the shuttle pick up list for 5am. The list was then full for all times immediately before & after 5am when they tried to sign up upon their arrival. The kids had to have U.S. Park shuttle pick them up. The receptionist offered for us to park at the hotel 1 night before moving our vehicles to the U.S. Park next door, but I doubt there was even room for us to park, partly due to the snow storm that had hit earlier and was never plowed with so many cars parked for extended stays. We parked our cars next door for the week. Really should give a voucher for 1 free night of parking at U.S. Park in these situations. Hard to hear receptionists through the glass and they didn't try to make it easier. Not very friendly. Chaotic.

The location was good because of the close proximity to U.S. Park, but also made for loud planes flying directly overhead until about 12:30 am. Price was excellent for a close place to stay before an early morning flight.

The room was freezing and not a very welcoming atmosphere. There was no breakfast. However, for the price, I won't complain.

It was not cleaned by the nightstand between the bed and nightstand it looked like old “something” splashed on the floor and not cleaned up. It was also on the bed frame.

Smoke detector in the drawer of bedside table. Bed frame was metal and when bumped (unavoidable) sounded like striking a gong. Not clean. Found fake eye lashes and disposable tooth cleaners in the bathroom obviously from previous occupants. Sounded like the planes would land in my room. Walking on the carpet made my socks really dirty. No safe available. No second door lock. Not enough towels or wash cloths.

The mattress was soft. The staff were friendly and readily available.
