Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe breakfast was ok.
Location was close to the airport and they provide a free shuttle service. Angel Lake park is also close by and a peaceful break from the busyness of the area. I was upgraded to a bigger room, which was nice. The kitchen staff were super friendly and even provided me with cables to charge my phone, as I had misplaced mine. Staff were also flexible and very accommodating with the shuttle times.

United States of AmericaThe elevator is (or at least was) broken. As a septuagenarian, I struggled to carry my bag (packed for three weeks in Europe) up the stairs. I would hope the staff would at least offer to have the luggage carried up the stairs.
The location is very good. The shuttle to/from the airport is easy. The rooms are nice.

United States of AmericaThe insulation in the rooms is terrible; it was so loud outside my closed window -- you could hear planes constantly, plus the light rail nearby. And you could hear tromping feet above. Room curtains did not stay fully closed, and the bright glare of the parking lot light interfered with my sleep, as did the uncomfortable beds. The furnishings all appeared to be very cheap, especially the beds. The elevator was out of commission, and we had to walk up the stairs with bags. The front desk area is tiny and not very welcoming, and the breakfast was sub-par. The breakfast attendant hid out in a supply closet off the breakfast room, on her phone in the dark, not being very attentive. While I was looking for a decent budget accommodation for a single night, I don't think I would return. I was surprised, as the Best Western name influenced my decision to stay. But this is definitely their cut-rate brand.
The hotel was very clean, I'll give it that, and the location near the airport was convenient, with a free shuttle.

United States of AmericaThe rest of the staff had ZERO information about Seattle; even things like "how much does the tram cost" (which is 500m from the hotel). They don't know a thing about Seattle and have zero answers. Also - the lift was broken and we were on the 4th floor - obviously a letdown.
The manager was very cool. The beds were decently comfortable. felt safe.

AustraliaLift was broken and I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to my room with a large/heavy suitcase. Besides the no smoking policy there was a strong smell of cannabis in the common area on my floor.
Good location with shuttle service, reasonably priced. Less than 10 minute walk to Angle Lake light rail station. Quiet room on top floor. Luggage storage available to store a bag for 5 nights until my return stay. Breakfast was a basic breakfast help yourself style with limited but just enough options. Be careful to ensure you arrive at the correct Sure Stay hotel as both close by.

The staff was amazing! They helped me SO much! The night shift checkin guy helped me carry luggage up 3 flights since the elevator was broken, and answered all my shuttle questions! The day shift check in lady super friendly, great conversation, very helpful with my daughter and the baby. The shuttle man literally helped us so much with all the luggage, baby, car seat, and to find our way to the elevator at the airport. Your staff went above and beyond! My room was clean, comfortable, perfect for my travel needs.
